Please don't turn this into a referral begging thread. If you need another source, cruise over to this thread. Other Sprint employees have posted email addr's there.

?Oh, if you have any issues with a CSR not knowing about the SERO plan, have them do this:
Open up their browser and type in 'benefits' (http://benefits) and then click on 'Employee Discounts'
The 5th item down the page clearly says:

Tim Sir
Thankyou very much for your concern. I have learned a few things that
Id like to share with you about trying to set up this new acct. We
have already discussed most of the problems in getting the SERO. There
are 2 ways to do it. 1) using the employee email-calling in and 2)
using the Inphonic website. Inphonic is a third party which offers the
same SERO plan with different phones. With them you need to cancel
your acct with Sprint first ($150) and start another acct with
Inphonics offer. The rules are different- I dont know what they are.
Sprint told me you would still be under contract with Sprint but with
the 3rd party. Whatever that means.
Lets move on. With your pacience and concern I was able to make sense
of this stuff. First of all the most common mistake everyone makes is
calling for CS who arent Sprint employees but 3rd party themselves.
What do they know- not alot concerning referrals.
Who to call is the Business Dept. and tell them you want the referral.
They will tell you the only referral active at this time is the SERO
(Sprint Employees Referall Ofers) and itis the offer we have been
talking about me trying to get. Even though the website you sent me
didnt have the word SERO on it it was in fact the in-house employee
SERO offer. There is a small difference in what is offered also.
Sprints offer does not include the TXT messageing or the sending of
pictures by e-mail but you do get a nice choice of fine Sprint PCS and
EV-DO phones with nice ($150) rebates anytime. Real sweet isnt it.
I did have to give the person the info you privided me. With that she
had to confirm with another dept for the accuracey of this info. Once
that was approved the sailing was smooth so to speak. The person asked
me what I wanted to do and she told me what was offered. WOW this is
amazing.
I have as yet to see the changes on my acct website but she did say
the SERO offer was in effect as of today. I am very pleased with this
offer. It also includes a long term discount on the pertaining Sprint
phones. Wow.
All I really had to approve of was that the contract was for another 2
years from todays date. Very nice as I do like this service.

Thanks Meritt. I'll go in to our local Sprint store to check on the deals. We currently pay around $80+ per month for 1000 shared minutes, but only use about 400 because we have free sprint to sprint. My wife texts her mother and sisters like a demon so $0.10 per message is a deal breaker. Also it looks like I have an upgrade credit cause we have been on Sprint for 4+ years, time to trade in my tinny sounding POS Sanyo.

It doesn't show the 500 minutes, I don't know if I should be concerned about that or not. Anyone who's gotten this deal see something different?
