so is the combat updated.. Does a baseball bat last more then 3 zombies? The horrible decay on items was a game breaker for me.. has that been changed at all? A tire iron should not break... decay.. you want it to be a weak weapon i understand.. but kill 3-4 zombies and its no good... game breaking..
Heh, first thing I did when playing was use the save game editor to make a couple low level melee weapons to be unbreakable. I found that mechanic pretty dumb but easily fixed it.
I just wish the whole dismemberment mechanic was better. I thought I would be able to take out a zombie's legs and then he would start crawling to me, but nope they always die before their legs come off. Or take off an arm and they can only use the other one to swing at you, things like that. Missed opportunity.
Yea, no crawling legless zombies is a bummer.
You can, though, take off the arms. Earlier on in the game, that is how I would take out Thugs. Cut both arms off and all they can do is headbutt you, which is really easy to avoid. I'm using Xian, the blade expert, so it may be easier to do than with the other characters.
