Does anyone have any experience with return / rebuy. And adding things to the new reciept, Nervous me I forgot which brand cases and cdr's they were selling so just left with the secured cdrw drive.

I put together a good deal for me which was

Cdrw drive
100 slim cd cases
50 cdr's
Anti virus software

which totals out to be 111$ after instant rebate, found that 25 dollar off 100 coupon. In the end I should net 17 dollars after mail in rebate. Talked with manager earlier today and he told me as long as the products were in stock at the store he doesn't have a problem taking online coupons. We'll see how it goes tommorow though.

Went to place order this morning but most items showed as backordered so I called and the CSR said that none of the items were showing on backorder for her, so I placed the order. Should I have trusted her? Am I at all likely to get these items before the 14-day deadline for rebate submission? Should I just cancel the order?

I just got back from the madhouse at OM. They had plenty of the cdrw drives and mostly everything else. First, I would like to say people are f@ckin rude. I got there about 10 minutes before the store opened and was about 5th in line. There were about 30 people standing outside when they opened the door and they all rushed the doors. They were diving onto the tables they had set up when you walked in. The tables had all the free stuff. I have never seen such greedy people.

They had about 30 if not more of the cdrw drives. They had two different places of manufacture, Malaysia and China. Didn't get one because I have enough and I don't trust the rebate going to the manufacturer.

I did pick up the modem, cd cleaner and the ram. I also used my 10 off 40 Staples coupon and they didn't even question it. He took typed in a code to get the discount and whammo. Net profit of about $5 after tax, stamps and everything else.

Anyone know who makes the drives from Maylasia or China? I have heard Benq makes some of them but which country are the from?
