Thank you sir, I was looking up that number in old posts for the ddr when I found your post. Used coupon and ordered inkjet paper. Rebate info also much appreciated. Great deal on ddr. Hope the rebate comes thru. Correct me if I'm wrong or not up to date, but wasn't there some kind of problem with a rebate company in New Rochelle that was notorious for not honoring rebates? I'm taking the chance anyway but I would like to know beforehand of possible problems.

I bought a PNY ddr stick about 2 months ago from OD and the reabte was denied. Said I sent in the wrong upc code, hehe that was the only one on there. It was in Miami. I went to OD and they gave me the $25, no problem at all. Just save all your info, make copies etc.

Unfortunately the later. If they ship it to you after the offer for the rebate ends, you're out of luck.

To the best of my knowledge, both the PNY and Kingston 256MB DDR memory modules have always been "Order By Item # only items - you've always had to go through that link to order these two items (unlike the PC100/133 SDRAM).

What you can do for "future purchases" - since the Office Depot DDR memory deals seem to be on a one-month cycle - is to save the item to a "Personal Item list", by simply clicking on the small "[Add to List]" box immediately below the Quantity box, on the product descripion page. You can then 'pull-up' any item in that/those personal list(s) at any time, simply by clicking on the "My Saved Lists" button on any webpage that displays the Office Depot tool bar. Very simple, you never have to remember the SKU again - it's always stored for you !

At least half a dozen times, OfficeDepot.com has said a product was out of stock for local pickup, but the store actually had it. There must be some threshold amount the store has to have in stock before the web site says it's available for local pickup.
