*DEAD* Logitech Reseller Program Discounts

It's not a matter of "hoarding" the deals, it's a matter of qualifying for them.

Let's say there's a government program that lets low income families order computer parts for half price, and there's a 50% chance you could get on the deal, even though you don't qualify. Would you abuse that as well?

Although it's not to that extent, those of you that don't qualify for this are basically stealing from those that do.

I agree it's a great deal, but Logitech explicitly states that this is for retail workers that resell Logitech products, so that employees are better able to sell their products.

The only argument I see, are, "GOOD DEAL OMG WHY DID YOU HOARD IT THIS IS A DEAL SITE."

Do you honestly think this is enough to justify your reasoning?

Companies like Logitech have agreements with their distributors not to compete with them. But programs like this one allow employees and other sweethearts to buy at discounted retail prices. Logitech would be happy to sell to anyone at these prices because they are higher than what they get from the distribution channels. But they have to be careful not to violate their agreements. Nobody is getting screwed by this deal.

well to give a short review of the difference between the klipsch 4.1 400 watters and the logitech z5500

listening to music i noticed that the klipsch were a bit more boomy at the top end especially with music with a ton of bass, listening to jazz and the like they sounded clean with good projection

for the z5500 i noticed that the sub was not as boomy but produced a lot more bass up close and tended to throw the sound a bit more, reproduction of sounds like guitars and the like was much better

as for watching movies there was a huge difference in sound
with the klipsch they were unable to reproduce sound as well as the logitechs

i watch movies and play games a lot on my computer and i paid the same price for the klipsch when they first came out

hands down this system spanks the klipsch 1st gen speakers

See here is the damned point that most morons don't seem to grasp. You aren't f'in any corporation, your are f'in the people who actually DO qualify for these deals. They take them away from us because jackasses abuse it.

To all the people who say share the deals, their meant for certain people, and all you are doing is f'in the actual people who DO qualify, many of which are fellow members here.
