this morning i woke up to my machine appearing to be dead, somewhat atleast, i usually leave my computer on when i go to bed, i woke up, there was no signal going to my monitor, and the machine wouldnt respond, so now when i reset the machine which i have to cycle the power supply somereason now for it to actually boot, it does one of a few things, if i let it sit there, it will get to the point where it tries to detect ide drives, it will either find all the 3 ide drives i have (ibm 30gb hd, creative 12xdvdrom, plextor 16/10/40a cdr) then right before it should start loading xp, my monitor turns off and everything appears to stop reasponding. OR i let it sit there, it finds ONLY my cdr drive then my monitor turns off and does the same thing. i thought maybe there was something wrong with my agp slot, so i tried a diamond monster 3d fusion pci card, whenever i try and boot with this, it doesnt SHOW anything on the screen, the monitor will go on just enough and turn off just quick enough for me not to be able to see anything, then everything stops responding again, my machine was running rock solid up until this point for about 2 weeks, my machine is:

Abit KA7-100 (Newest BIOS TY)
AMD Athlon Classic 1ghz cpu
768mb pc133 crucial ram
Creative Sound Blaster Live! x-gamer
Plextor 16/10/40a cdr
Creative 12x dvdrom
sony g400 19"
graphics cards i have tried:
Elsa Gladiac Geforce 2 gts
Creative Annihilator 2 Geforce 2
Diamond Monster Fusion

i have no clue why this has happened ive checked with the `pauls unnofficial ka7/100 faq` and nothing worked that i tried, and abits site has been giving errors recently about their ftp site not even being up, the page just hangs for me so i cant even reflash the bios if it became corrupted somehow
gahhh help!

Hmm, maybe it's true that Abit mobos suddenly die on users. If you have a warranty, it's time to RMA the board, but if at all possible, borrow someone else's slot A board for testing purposes first.
