What about adding $20 of free-after-rebate stuff and using the $40 off $200 coupon?

Drive would end up being $59.99. You'd only be paying additional sales tax on the $20 worth of free-after-rebate stuff.

1) Will they allow you to do in-store pickup on this deal?

2) When you order online, or via phone, do you have to pay for it then if you pick it up at the store? I don't want to use a credit card, and would rather pay cash for it.

I guess what I'm really asking is, if I am able to use the coupon at the B&M store?

now...in some stores they have kiosk(access to staples.com ..) where you could possibly place your order and pay for it at the sales register in said B&M in cash[rebate form(s) and sales receipt would be printed out at that time as well..]
but you would have to wait for delivery of the drive...

Dumb question: If/when I buy this drive can I use the controller card to use it as a third drive? I have been putting off buying a bigger HD for a while, but my current two just aren't cutting it. The problem is that I am too lazy to back up everything with my inconsistent and lam CD-RW drive and I have no other method of back-up for the volume of data I would need to back-up. So can use the controller card to just tack on an extra drive or will I need to invest in an external drive too (something I have been thinking about, but would rather avoid)?
