Hey, on the wallet website in their forum, they had a link to $30 off $150 coupon that you print out. I saw someone post afterwards that the coupon might be fake and then someone replied that it was not fake. I can't link to the coupon b/c the wallet site is down temp for maintaince. Can anyone tell me if it is fake or not? thanks

the Business Rewards program gives you dividend checks good on future Staples purchases..so ...where's the downside to that idea.. <edit> typos

so this is what i researched:

you have to do the rewards thing because you need to have this "special" 10 digit number and also staples will send you the emails. the checks are cool too, probably.

if you're getting coupons in email, you can do a search to find a nice listing of 5 digit codes to replace the codes on the 16 digit number that staples gives you, changing the coupons value. however, the remaning digits of the coupon are special to you so that coupon code is now void (to you) after one use. the remaining digits are you 10 special digits plus one that i don't know what it does, well just pretend it's ambiguous. the site that i found has multiple listings though, ie 3 versions of $30 off 150 and 2 versions of $50 off 200. PM me and I can give you the linkness, its not that one that was linked before in the thread, this actually explains the process too, probably better than I do.

These are also the 16 digit codes found on the printable coupons, the codes can be punched in at the register, so I have read.

On the 16 digit codes the last digit is no doubt a 'check digit' which is (used to be at least) a common procedure to authenticate the other 15 digits. If so, it would be calculated with a formula using a combiniation of the other 15 digits. Anybody know more on this?

hopefully a $40 off $200 or even better, a $50 off $200...

besides the fact that because its so rare to find in-store coupons, expect most staples B&M to be in stock all the time...
