This "deal" requires you to stack four OfficeMax coupons that obviously weren't supposed to be stackable. Someone goofed and forgot to set the non-stackable bit on these coupons.
This is the kind of "deal" that gets boards blacklisted and is why coupon codes are no longer allowed here at Anandtech. (The only reason that F*tw*ll*t exists is that Anandtech disallowed posting of coupon codes because of this kind of nonsense).
I expect a mass cancellation of orders followed by revisions in policy that will make it yet harder for anyone to get a good deal in the future.

I ordered it. It says it'll be delivered on the 10th. I've done this before a very long time ago and I got it and the rebates too. I didn't know orders were being cancelled for stacking coupons. It'll be interesting to see if the orders go through like I believe they will. Clearly if stacking were a problem, it's easy enough to fix when they issue these coupons in their system. I don't see how they could continually make this mistake and not expect people to use them. Wait and see. Good post over at FW.
On the OD website, down at the right hand bottom side, you will see a rebate center link. Click on it and enter computer electronics as the category and maxtor as the manufacturer and it'll pull up the 4 rebates. Two are good. The $30 and $25. Another $30 is good but for longer time period which you could use instead. You can use a copy of the upc for the OD rebate.
WOW this is thermal nuclear hot. Does someone have the rebate jpegs loaded to post. They will not seem to load complete so that I can print them. If i get them to load i will post them. Whom ever can first cause the OD site is sllooooow

I found a random zip code that had it in stock, I thought score! Then when I tried to checkout and logged in to my acount, it changed to insufficient stock. So I guess it checks your billing/shipping zips, sneaky they are!
