OK. If you guys can't get a price match, you're in luck. I called into Office Depot and spoke to an online purchasing tech. If you order this as "backorder" since its mostly likely OOS, you won't be charged until the item ships. When it does ship, however, you are GUARANTEED the $22.02 price, since that's the price it was at when ordered. She specifically said that it would be the $22.02 price for me. Of course shipping will bring this to $30, but its still a great deal, even at that price. So if you don't have any luck at Staples, or CC, just order online, and they usally ship backordered items in 5-7 business days.

Mine shipped today. Came to $32. However, after talking to the rep, if I can get this for $22.02 by price matching, I can just refuse shipment, and I will get the $32 refunded back to my Credit Card. I'm going out now to see if this works.

Woot!!! Staples in Burbank pricematched. The manager came over to verify since it was a huge difference. They were selling it for $64.95. They checked online, and sure enough, they accepted it!!

They pointed to the printout and said, 'oh, no that's for DELIVERY only so it's an online deal and we don't pricematch them...'

Grrrrrrrr! I dislike how random store managers can be.....

i went to 2 Staples and a Circuit City in my area Lynnwood WA, they all either said can't pricematch online deal or told me the price was $48, those bastards..

I went to my local OfficeMax with a printout of the web page. The clerk called the local Office Depot B&M and after a long discussion, determined that the B&M price was $49, but the online price was so low because "Microsoft is discontinuing this keyboard".

He gave it to me for the $22.02 (versus $59.95 OfficeMax shelf price) and then I pulled out a "get $10 off a $20 purchase" card that had come in the mail yesterday. He went off to talk to the manager and when he came back, rang it up at $12.02. He seemed to be very disgruntled.

Called STAPLES here in MI and they say they will price match and have it in stock...........I was going to get a G15 but I always wanted to try an ergonomic.

the manager made a call to someone and whoever was on the other line said to go ahead and match the online price

Tried to match it at Staples, no go.

I ordered it on the 12th as OOS, it showed up today! I never received an email regarding it, my bank doesn't show the charge, and my account page at OD says nothing. Strange...

As for the keyboard, very nice...much better than my five year old ergo keyboard. (and its black 'n sexy)
