Just got disconnected from a dell rep and found out my ship date has, in fact, been moved to the 24th. Guy was trying to connect me to his supervisor to try and 'expedite the order' and their system hung up on me.

Can people that either had their order canceled or had their ship date pushed back tell us when they ordered?

Called them back and they've given me a revised ship date of the 19th. They said they're also going to contact the manufacturer to see if they can expedite one for me. Don't know if I believe it or not, but it's what they said.

I ordered mine on the 29th and it's listed a ship date of the 14th the entire time. At one point I could have sworn it flipped forward to the 10th, but I really don't remember. I kinda expected a fairly drawn out battle when I ordered it, but if this moves into January I'll probably cancel.

Anyone else notice how on the "order status" page it used to say "MSI...geforce etc" but now it just says Geforce? PLUS my ship date was 12/10 now it is 12/13...

Are you sure it used to say MSI? My original order confirmation from 11/24 didn't say MSI either, just Geforce. Plus the item number is still the same.

My ship date is still 12/10 fwiw.

It might have stated MSI on the website, but the e-mail from the original order just stated GeForce 8800GT. No mention of MSI. FWIW.

That's probably true. You can take your order number and track by "reference" at DHL, UPS and FEDEX. Most likely, the order number will be used in the reference section of the shipper.

I orderd my board on 11/25 and Dell gave me a "Est. Ship Date: 12/10/2007" so I called them today and their CSR told me that they were back ordered and were expected in on 12/17 (approximately 4000 boards). He said it wouldn't cover their back log and I can only hope that I am high enough up in the queue to get one of those (he couldn't tell me where I was in the queue). He did upgrade my shipping to "next Business Day" at no cost to me.

This is what I was told .. so take it FWIW.
