I just got the same deal. Mine's just been delayed to 12/26 too......
I'm finally ready to say I believe this one's over for me. (Yeah i know it should've been a while ago) I'm going to look elsewhere. Would've gotten the BB deal but I was a day late....

I wasn't gonna cancel, I figured I could wait some more. However I've had a new system build just sitting there waiting on 2 of these cards to run in SLI. I'm just gonna splurge and get myself my cards from another place. I've wasted enough time dealing with this crap service already!

Well, I'm keeping my order in place until prices drop or the next generation comes out. The BFG was finally in stock at BestBuy yesterday, just in time for the price to be jacked up. I'm not about to pay $30+ over MSRP.

Dell is a bunch of lieing asshats. Where are the 3,600 units they said would be available to their customers by today? Oh yeah, they have no way of knowing how many will be available because this item is being shipped directly from a distributor that supplies everyone else in the channel!

Let's face it, with luck, these won't start trickling out to those Dell customers first in queue until sometime in mid-January. The demand for these things are just too high to logically conclude otherwise.

I found the BFG at the Salem Oregon Best Buy. I had the 10% 12% discount coupons too. The manager would not apply the discount to the $237 price. He said it was only good on retail price. After reading many others getting the discount on the $237 price, I just passed. I will leave my order with dell for now.

Got my 12/26 delay note also. These things are getting delayed week-to-week-to-week with no consideration for actual availability. So it's extremely predictable to say we can expect another delay notice on 12/26. Then on 1/2/08, etc.

i called and canceled the MSI card because it was looking to ship after the 24th. the CSR told me the XFX card would ship tomorrow, but might be sent out today.

i guess i'll wait and see.

I ordered up the Galaxy 8800GT from ncix.com. $224 after $20 rebate. canceled my Dell order after this most recent delay.

How about some self-restraint and help spread the cheer offered by BFG, and not order multiples, OK? This is very limited to 500 cards for people that got screwed by Dell, lets not exploit it for their sake.

Wow.... I originally posted in one of these Dell threads that I had just ordered mine from Frys.com... I'd rather pay the premium for one that's in stock.

Good thing, too... finally got my new PC's cooling situation straightened out, along with backing up my old stuff, that I was able to play Crysis on my new machine. I'm very happy with the (BFG card, in this case) 8800GT's performance (DX9, though)... played everything at high at native res (1680x1050) smooth as silk.

Well, I'm in waiting in the queue with a CSR to cancel mine too - mine isn't scheduled to ship until 1/3/08 (and I'm sure that won't happen either ). I'm not too excited about it, but I got the eVGA card from Outpost.com... a few hours later the other (much better) deals came up, but oh well. At least it was in stock and I won't be waiting 4 or 5 weeks for it to MAYBE ship...

I got a card from BB for $216+tax because of a mistake so I'm going to keep using that. I'll keep my order for the MSIs because I know people will be looking for them and I can hook up some coworkers if they actually ship.
