DEAD!!msi gforce 7600gt 256mb pci-e sli video card for $58.99!!

Well, Im still holding on to a shred of hope, but here's a list of reasons that nobody will get thier 7600's:

1. Too many people have ordered. This throws up a big red flag.
2. Its the middle of the night so all of these orders will esentially be picked up at the same time in the morning... another HUGE red flag. Also, this means that they will have plenty of time in the morning to figure out exactly what hapened before they accidentally ship the wrong card.
3. The part #'s. the part number for cheap "7600GT" is 351602 but the part number for the real thing is 337551. Since orders are most likely filled by part number, they will be sending out part 351602.
4. Chumbo.com? i've never heard of them which probably means that they are a small company and thier orders will be filled by hand. Were this amazon, where the orders are filled by machines, then you might have a better shot at it.

Reasons it still might work:

1. the cheap 7600GT is the "-HD" version, which means that the difference in part numbers could simply be the difference between the NX7600GT VT2D256E and the NX7600GT VT2D256E -HD. What is part number 351602 really?
2. human error. Employee picks up order, grabs a couple of 7600's, boxes them up and ships them.

The HD signifies that it is the newer MSI model with HDCP. HDCP is a copy protection scheme that will be needed to allow your computer to play HD DVD's and Blueray discs etc. It probably won't be used until Vista.

The link was probably meant to be a 7300LE like this one at newegg 7300LE. It has the right memory timings and is about the right price.

how many are gambling on this? If I hadn't spent over $1500 in video cards, hdd's and computer memory in the last 2 weeks I mighta spent $150 to gamble on 2 of these cards.

*Update* My order status is now showing "Sent To Warehouse" where previously it said something like "Order Recieved."

So far, so good. At least it looks like ill be getting SOMETHING.

If you order something that is advertised as a 7600GT, and you get 7300LE's instead, you can actually call the credit card company, dispute the charge, and KEEP the cards. The law that allows you to do this was created to prevent companies from sending you things you didn't order and then billing your credit card.

In essence: You order a 7600GT, you do not get a 7600GT - dispute charge, get money back.
A 7300LE shows up on your doorstep, it's irrelevant, it's something you didn't order, so you get to keep it.

Don't keep your fingers crossed on receiving a 7600gt, keep your fingers crossed and hope this company is actually gonna give you a hassle free refund in a timely manner.

i saw this too... if you look at the specs.. "64 bit".. a 7600 GT is NOT 64bit.. but if you guys end up getting one, yeah, major hot deal

If they don't send me the item I ordered, I don't care if the company gives me a hassle free refund because my CC company will give me a hasslefree chargeback.

I don't expect to here from these guys until Wednesday. First, it's a weekend. Second, it's a 4 day weekend for many. It's funny how people expect other people to work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
