This is my first post, but thought all of you would all be interested in this:
I ordered the Dell 600M online with 1.5 SXGA, 40gb, 256mb, dvdrw, Intel 2915 a/b/g, bluetooth, and a spare adapter. The total came out to $1500 exactly - $750. Later I called to have the laptop shipped to a Delaware location to save the tax, and the guy cancelled and duplicated the order... well when he redid it, he said "thas wierd, now the price is showing $1471, you need to add to the config to use the coupon" At first I was pissed bc I wanted to spend as little as poss, but told him to add an 80gig to see what the price would jump to. Online, it said it was a $110 upgrade, but when he did it, it only charged $29! He also upgraded my shipping to Overnight and gave me a 720 printer for free! Also, I found a 10% stackable online somewhere for using DPA. Moral of the story: If you got in on this deal, call Dell to rerate your laptop and see if you can hook up a better deal. I ended up getting the 600M with all of the above for $675 shipped! If its worth it to you to spend a little time on the phone, you might get more for less. Just wanted to put it out there!
