*DEAD*newegg 15% off with Paypal

Well I just emailed New Egg customer service to see what's up with my paypal refund. I ordered $300 worth of goods at 10:04 AM on the 15th. The order has been filled, shipped and is due here the 19th. I just checked my paypal and no refund yet so..?? How does one know if Paypal is dragging their feet or New Egg is going to claim they ran out of funds?

I'll post again when i get a reply from them.

I got notification from UPS my package had shipped. Apparently there is a delay on the order status of neweggs page.

I didn't see the UPS tracking notice or my email copy of the invoice until after my item arrived this morning. I've checked my P-P acct and still no refund, but as was stated a couple of posts back, they have until 12 midnite PST (3 am EST tomorrow) to get them in and I don't know of anyone who has to pay a large sum and who makes money on the float, who doesn't wait 'til the last minute to pay.

Finally contacted newegg. They said my paypal was declined and to contact paypal to find out why. Contacted paypal, they said my paypal is fine and newegg denied it. Getting the run around :\ Anyone know how to contact the newegg poster from AT?

I just had a phone call with Paypal. The Dec. 17 date is a mistake on the website. It will take 6 to 8 weeks to post the Cash Back to your Paypal account. As long the promotion is valid during the purchase process, you are entitle for the Cash Back.

Others are reporting CSR's that say it will be deposited today.

So I got a tracking number, but no record of it in the system. My invoice says it's DHL, but when I click the #, it takes me to FedEx. :/ WTF

I'm pretty sure DHL has discontinued their service between points within the US. For sure by some time in January. I've never heard of Newegg shipping by DHL. Too bad as DHL worked well for me with their ground often beating UPS on price and ship time.
. I'm keying this on my new monitor, haven't seen the PP rebate yet, but still a couple of hours to go until my 48 hrs. is up.

So I talked to Newegg. I guess DHL is strictly B2B now. They said DHL picks up the package from thier warehouse, and takes it to USPS for delivery. Unfortuntly, the "my account" link on Newegg's webpage links to FedEx. :/

i dont know why newegg split my SINGLE order into 2 different order numbers. think they're trying to steal 15% CB from one of my items?
they've never done this with any of my orders. i ordered them together and paid for the sum of them with paypal around 1:30 EST.

both my items have been shipped w/ tracking number tho.
their promotion page is still available, but i have NOT got my cashback from paypal yet. i will be pretty pissed if i didn't get it bc that was the only reason i made the order.

i also called newegg and was on hold for 35 mins before i just hung up. i also emailed them 2 days ago and did not get any reply.

i'll post back if i get the CB

I do know they have mulitple warehouses, a few times that I've built PC's for people I get boxes from several spots across the country. Maybe they split things up for that, depending on where they have stock? I also see that at times if I order something large, like a monitor, it gets it's own tracking number separate from the other smaller items.

well yea i'm aware they have diff warehouses, but this time, i got 2 diff order numbers for 2 items in one order. i never got that before and i've ordered MANY times with >1 item..
