Recieved email from microsoft it said "We ask you to remain in the program for at least three months. After you received your reward from us, you can uninstall the feedback tool and send a remove request to winpanel@microsoft.com. You may also stay in the program and participate in new offers that are being sent to program participants only." Does anyone know what the new program will be? Also will the software come in retail packaging?

Has anyone heard the details on this NFR version of the Vista disc yet? I'm mainly wondering if it is like a retail version, where you can uninstall and re-install on new hardware, or an OEM version which is tied to the hardware you initially install it on.

See my post (about 4 above yours) to see the packaging. Not retail.

I would like to know this also. (The part about being tied to the original hardware that is.) Anyone who has received theirs already care to comment?

Does anyone here think it will really take 4-6 weeks? I have received stuff from MS before and it arrived really quick.

This message is to notify you that your 3 months participation term has completed, and we are getting ready to ship your product. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. You will receive another email from us when shipments have gone out.

Score:thumbsup:
Finally- I was worried when I got the "....not all the requirements have been met...." email, especially after sending data since Dec. '07

Same here. Kaspersky was the culprit in my case.

not yet; i rarely use the machine it's on; probably only turned it on 6 times for short periods during the whole 3 months.

Everyone had me worried last week with all the notices of completing the requirements. Back in February both my wife and I received notices that our PC's weren't sending data. I uninstalled the app from both and reinstalled. We had signed up in December before the cutoff and everything seemed to be running fine. Last Wednesday, I emailed them from both accounts to ask if they were receiving anything. The next day we both got confirmation that we satisfied all requirements and that our reward was on the way. Neither of us had to even do a survey this whole time! Go figure.

To satisfy the requirement you were to have been sending data for 3 months. So in late February to get an email saying that they weren't receiving data only to turn around less than a month later saying we satisfied all the requirements is just phishy.

Got my email last week.

I'll need to keep an eye on this thread to see when others start to get their copies.

Nope. It is sitting on a laptop that I barely use.

Hey, just wondering if you can legally flip this software for a few pennies, or if theres a document included with it somewhere that says "not for resale"?

Aren't these labeled as NFR (Not For Resale)?
