Yes they are - but a sticker never really stopped anyone from doing anything. You won't be able to sell it on any reputable forum or eBay, but you could probably get away with it on CL or definitely in a private deal.

And on the Windows/Office deal from last year MS told the IRS that we had "full retail" copies which to me means I can completely ignore the "Not for resale" sticker.

I'm hoping and expecting that our copies will have SP1 integrated. Several site are now starting to dump their original Vista inventory for cheap with the new (SP1 integrated) updated stock on the way.

Full retail disc with SP1 have been in production for over a month now so I don't see why we'd get the old discs.

I don't think we will see SP1 integrated dics, I think its stupid how they come in paper sleeves, but its still a free product.

I believe I got my email 3-4 weeks ago. I have not received my MS Office yet. I already have Vista Ultimate x64 x32 sitting unused (got it for $40 from a friend of a friend who works at M$).

I believe it was actually only 2 weeks ago when the emails started going out (for the great majority of people, anyways) so we may have to wait a while yet.

I must admit, this is a little disappointing. The end of April? Christ, I don't want to wait another freakin' month! At this rate I'll be getting Hardy Heron before Vista.
