Just a DVD slip, well, 2 DVD slips for the 2 discs marked "Not for Resale". It comes packaged in a padded manilla envelope with the discs in slips and a little note saying "thank you" basically.

Got my Office Ultimate yesterday. Came USPS from West Virginia, Im in Virginia so guess thats why got it so quick. Plain yellow shipping mailer with Paper cd holder very basic but im not complaining

Doubt he'll get that price. These discs are going between $200 and $250 on ebay with BIN auctions. I watched one go last night for $32.01 on regular auction (#200219460263). :-\ I got rid of mine for $209 in just under 12 hours yesterday on Ebay.

Its unlikely he will get it sold due to the fact that Microsoft has someone who checks ebay all the time, and craigs list. They usually close the auction and send a warning letter.

Although some sales do get through. I can't remember the guys name, but last year I noticed one ebay buyer who did nothing but buy every Microsoft product he could find. From what I could tell he was spending tens of thousands of dollars each month, and price didn't seem to be a problem for him. I asked one guy who sold to him, and he said he got his money. That buyer also had a 100% feedback rating. Very weird.

I will be keeping my Vista if it ever comes.

Microsoft's legal team likes to build a solid case first.
In a few months or a couple of years he will get a letter regarding legal action or a settlement offer. The settlement offer is mostly 20 times the value of the item.
A friend got one for selling a NFS version of XP almost 2 years after he sold it on ebay. The settlement offer was for $2000. He was going to fight it but the cheapest attorney he could find wanted 1000 just to take the case. So he made them a counter offer for 1000 and they accepted.
BUt others have been nailed by going to court. Microsoft's attorneys show up with the disc, packaging, ebay records, paypal records, ip records. Emails. and in some circumstances , the name of the person or place where you originally got the disc. They are very intimidating.
Others have just ignored the letter and had default judgments placed against them and ruined their credit.

If your gonna sell them, sell them to friends and family. Not on an auction site.
