Mail came and went, nothing for me in TN. I sent the "no product received " email. See what happens.

Stupid question here but with the normal ultimate you have one key for two disks, so the key is valid for 32bit or 64bit. With this could you use either key for either disk or are they locked into a particular version?

look up a few replies:

I emailed microsoft as to whether you could install both or just one at once:

Hi, I recieved my Vista Ultimate disks from the Feedback program today (thanks), and I was wondering if I can have both the 32bit & 64bit versions installed at the same time on different PCs? The label on the back of the paper DVD slip says to "see license terms" but there's nothing in my package detailing those terms.

Thanks.

Absolutely, xxxxx, you can install both on different PCs. Each one has a license key on the back.

THANK YOU

Actually thats not my question though I did state it poorly. With the normal ultimate you have 1 key and two versions. What I want to know is if you can use either key for either versions. For example can I do two installs of 32 bit vista with the two keys or do I have to do 1 32 bit and 1 64 bit installation. The normal keys are good for both, are these?

Does that make sense?

I haven't got mine yet but it seems like you get 1 key for 32bit and 1 key for 64bit.

I'm assuming as much but I wanted to see if anyone knew. I sent an email in to see what they say and I'll let you all know. Either way I am not complaining, this is an unexpected bonus from MS.

ARe you folks gonna just install over XP or do a totally clean install?

(seems like a clean install would be better with less potential problems)

It against Microsoft's TOS for NFR disks. You can't even trade them.

Microsoft EULA

10. NOT FOR RESALE SOFTWARE.

Software identified as "Not For Resale" or "NFR," may not be sold or otherwise transferred for value, or used for any purpose other than demonstration, test or evaluation.

Wonder how legal it is to put this on ebay. I have no use for this, i bought 2 copies from the MS store for 50$ each a while ago so i got the nice retail copies already.

wow, just a quick search on ebay and you see a ton of these on there! Its going to be a shame when ebay sees them, takes the listing from search and then screws you out of the money in paypal. So they will be out of the product and their money along with strikes or a ban from ebay/paypal.
