How will they be "out of the product"? the item will just be removed from being listed. And if MO is used as payment how can they get their greedy hands on that?

Wonder how legal it is to put this on ebay. I have no use for this, i bought 2 copies from the MS store for 50$ each a while ago so i got the nice retail copies already.
BUSTED for not reading the thread. I hate it when that happens.
Edit: Got mine today too

If you bought from the the microsoft store and your copies say "not for resale" then they are not retail copies.
Have you looked at the DVDs to see whether they say "not for resale" above the DVD logo?

OEM Vista from Microsoft would come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) sticker to affix to your PC. MOST NFR software that I've seen from Microsoft is not OEM.Originally posted by: country2
So does anyone know for sure if these disc's are OEM or retail? I've heard yes because of the NFR and yes and that the NFR does not mean its just oem's. Thanks
It against Microsoft's TOS for NFR disks. You can't even trade them.
Microsoft EULA
10. NOT FOR RESALE SOFTWARE.
Software identified as "Not For Resale" or "NFR," may not be sold or otherwise transferred for value, or used for any purpose other than demonstration, test or evaluation.

MS has changed the NFR terms in the Vista EULA versus the XP EULA. MS has dropped the entire "only for demo, test, evaluation....." clause.Originally posted by: Onund
Edit: oh wait, I'm reading this again and the language seems to imply that the use of the NFR copies can only be use for demo, test and eval... sooo.... those that are getting these copies can only demo/test/eval them? I suppose that means it can't be used in a business environment. But yes, even if that interpretation is correct then giving away the software would not violate the terms, as I understand them. Just don't expect good karma from doing it
