p3numbra, not all BBs will PM w/ other BBs. I saw a deal on a Sony DVD player while I was in NY. Called to WA and told my friend about it. He called from BB in Spokane, WA and said that they would not PM w/ the NY store. I spoke w/ the NY BB guy and he said that they wouldn't PM w/ anyone out of area, either- only local competitors.

As always, YMMV w/ Best Buy.

I haven't checked to see if the Tulsa BB has any DDR @ this price.

The stick I got from OMAX has nothing written on the chips to tell what it is. It is a double sided, 4 chips per side module. I think this stick is high-density right? Well, i was just wondering whether or not it will work with an ECS K7S5A motherboard? Does this mobo have problems with high-density ram or like the one i got with 4 chips on each side, double-sided ram?

Is it kvr266x64c25/256-r on the label? And do the chips alternate? chip, blank space,chip,blank space...the reverse side showing the opposite. If so, you should be fine. I've been looking around and found a review which is lost in this early am haze. It was Corsair or Mosel-Vitelic that uses this setup for, essentially, single sided dimms. Over and out.

I got mine this morning 12/10/02 and the price on the shelf was $39.99, but it rang up as $54.99. They honored the $39.99 price listed and my $15 rebate popped out! It was the last one left, but I may stop by tomorrow to snag another if they restock!

yes he is..my local BB had one pkg as well(has Hynix chips..) but @ $59.99 price w/ $15 MIR ..ugh.. but the PNY @ CompUSA is a helluva deal as some of their pkgs of pc2100 ....have the TCB3 Samsung in them lessee...wait on a $20 MIR or a $30MIR from PNY(the PNY pc2700 is $79.99 w/ $30MIR as opposed to a $69.99 w/ a $20 MIR for the pc2100 pkgs..$10 less tied up in rebate..)as always YMMV

what is your system running..? if its pc133 ..pull it and take it with you as far as B&M ..you should say what area so as to better help you find ..even tho ..you should ask that in "I Wanna " thread at the top of the HotDeals forum

Went to 1 best buy in san diego (Mira Mesa one) and the shelf tag was removed from it and regular price was 54.99 or something like that. So I went to another one (Mission Valley) and the shelf tag was there. But the last one was an open box, which said "89.99". I told him I wanted to purchase the open box at the shelf tag price. He said it was 54.99, but I pointed out the shelf tag price. He took the tag off the shelf, looked at the box, and crumpled up the tag and said this tag was for the wrong item but I'll give you the price since this is open box. He proceeds to then throw away the tag. Seemed a lil shady to me. Oh well at least I got mine Good deal thanks.

The price of $39.99 was effective for ONE DAY ONLY on the 12/09! Afterwards, it went back up to $54.99 with $15 MIR. NO ONE will find it for $39.99 price, it was a MISTAKE, IMHO.

In case anyone is interested, 12/15-12/17, compusa is expected to have pc2100 for 39.99 with no rebate BS involved.
