Unfortunately, it looks like everyone else does too, as it's out of stock until the end of March. The more expensive Icy Dock might be your only other choice right now.

Newegg sends these emails to the oldest email-signup customers first. I have a real old email - which is not really active anymore, but since I setup forwarding, Comcast sends through - this old email account gets the Newegg specials quite a few hours before my newer email address. It's all you need!

This isn't like a mechanical hard drive, you don't need to have it bolted down to the nth degree to keep it level and from moving around while operating. On the computer with removable hard drive bay, I drilled 2 holes to put it in. On the other I just put in two on one side. I wouldn't pack it up and move it like that, but for sitting still, it's more than enough.

Thanks, I see good reviews for this on amazon, I need to find something else on amazon to get free shipping on orders > $25. But they are also OOS.

Glad they're OoS!!! It was grim to see how much I'd have to re-organize to boot off this. With several 1GB drives, it's easy to become undisciplined and accumulate dreck -- it's like having too large a basement or attic.

Believe me, I thought about it all day long. Thought about doing the eBillme promo with ZZF to get two of these for around $250ish and RAID them. I will probably lose my job on Monday so I decided to just wait until a better time and faster units start to arrive.
