So, this seems pretty smoking hot to me. I'm not sure if it's a price mistake or what, but I jumped on it. $180 for a 1250 Watt Gold Rated PSU.

Deal is back alive if you don't mind a wait. I've had two of these up and running for a while now and have had absolutely no problems. Great deal if you ask me.

Looks like they got those prices mixed up. When you click on 850, you see the picture of the 1250 (and a much higher price). Vice versa for 1250. When you add to the cart, it doesn't specify which wattage you're getting, but the picture is of the 850. Pretty sure you'll end up with the 850 for $170 (which is still an ok deal).

Not worth the fight with Amazon in my opinion.

You're probably right, but just to play the devil's advocate, all of the model information on the page does indicate the 1250 Watt, so which are we to believe, the picture or the information?

In either case, I did this all rather hastily because I was in the middle of leaving work and just happened to notice this when someone was asking me to help get parts for their rig. Thank you for looking at it more scrupulously than I was able to.

If anyone is interested, I will update the thread with how this works out. It felt like a good day to roll the dice

Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to put it in my machine yet due to a crazy work schedule, but I'll let you know as soon as I do, which hopefully will be sometime this weekend.

Update: Both myself and a friend received ours and it is in fact the correct 1250 Watt version. This seems like an extremely hot deal to me as the next cheapest I've seen this PSU is about $260+ shipped from Newegg or Buy.com

I just went in for one of these for my new build. Was going to get an 850W Corsair-but the headroom this gives me plus the 5 year warranty and what I have read so far on this unit sold me.

I also ordered on the morning after OP posted this thread (didn't notice the picture discrepancy at the time), and the correct 1250 model did indeed arrive today. It looks as though the picture has been corrected, and that the prices are still swapped so people should jump on this hot deal while they can!

J&R has it on amazon at about the same price (168 with 8 for shipping) the picture is for 850w but the size lists it as "1250" so might only get the 850w (still not a bad price)

That's true, although I would be a lot more trepidatious ordering through a 3rd party than I was ordering directly from Amazon, especially if this is some sort of wacky price error situation. If anyone does end up ordering through J&R, let us know how it turns out.

Based on the time of your post, I think you might have been one of the last few to get one that was in-stock. I was watching it throughout the day and it wasn't until recently that actually went down to OOS. It was at 12 in-stock this morning and I saw it go down to 1. Hopefully you'll get yours sooner rather than later.

Yeah, when I bought it from "Amazon LLC" there were 6 left in stock.

The only reason I hesitate is I ordered another item and it shipped already, so I'm not sure what's with the delays on this PSU.

Update: it shipped this morning, finally. I ordered direct from Amazon; for those who got the 1250W unit, did you order direct from Amazon?

If you check on the site now, it's no longer being sold direct from Amazon and says "item under review," and there's one user review stating he received the 850W version (although it doesn't say which seller he ordered from).
