Yup yup, been testing my 144's on one of my Tforce boards and Primes at 2.7GHz (300MHz HTT) at pseudo-default vcore, meaning had to bump up vcore a notch until PC Health reported "proper" vcore - normally undervolts to 1.37v, if you believe what it says. My "bad" overclocking 144 can run at default 1.8GHz at detected 1.100v (set to 1.125v) Prime stable. I really like the Tforce boards.

Well, got mine today and all three were CACJE 0603 GPBW stepping. Anyone that's gotten these care to share the results??? I'd like to get some testing started on mine, but man, that Scythe Ninja is a bitch to take off and put back on.

wow that's the exact same week and stepping as the one I recieved last week. I'll be recieving my dfi lanparty ultra-d tomorrow, and installing the opty then. From browsing around various forums, I was only able to find one thread about a cacje 0603 144 opty, and the guy was able to get it to like 2.9ghz stable on air w/ like 1.5x volts. Hopefully I can hit the magic 3 ghz mark, but I'll be happy with anything over 2.7....since I basically got the motherboard and cpu free through gift certificates and selling my old system.

I'll keep you posted on the results (probably gonna take awhile to learn about the ultra-d) and hope you do the same

thanks for the good deal post op

I got the CACJE 0603 GPBW stepping from Monarch and got to 2.7 with just divider and HTT changes. Have yet to put the memory in the equation but this looks like it has some more headroom.

hmm...well...coupled with my nf4 ultra-D (chip modded to sli), I can't seem to get this thing stable at anything over 2.8ghz, no matter what the voltage. It'll do 2.7 easily at stock everything, but 2.8 takes about 1.42 volts to get stable and it can boot all the way into 3.0ghz but it freezes when I get into windows, even at 1.55 volts. I'm not comfortable going with voltages higher than 1.45, so I'm going to keep it at 2.8. BTW, this is with the IHS removed. Before I removed the IHS, I couldn't do over 2.7ghz no way no how with any settings, and booting over 2.9ghz resulted in blue screens. I'm thinking maybe if I upgrade and get some better ram and a better psu to replace this antec 350w, I might be able to get her to 2.9 and maybe more. Who knows, overclocking 939's takes a crapload of trial and error, and I just get tired of it lol.

yeah dude I know, it's really pushing it. The vcore tends to fluctuate +/- .02 when under loads, so I definitely think that's not helping things. And nope, not even using a 24 pin adapter, just the good ol 20 pin connector. I'll be definitely looking at something in the neopower range soon, as I plan on going the sli route (currently using ****** 8mb pci matrox card since I previously had an agp card)

Dude, I feel your pain. I ended up with THREE Opteron 144 chips from Monarch, and I'm only using one of them.
