I got the Brother printer today for $69 plus tax at the Redwood City store. It was the only thing I bought. The clerk seemed proud that I was getting it at such a good price. Several stores here also had the $30 instant rebate on the item. It rang up as $179, but when the total was entered the $30 came right off.
Not many people must have taken advantage of this, they had lots of units in stock.
I bought it for my wife, but it runs faster than the HP printer I have in my office. Very clear text and quite speedy. Can't beat it for $69.

I avoided getting the deal because my local OM only had the "Made in China" models.
and as good a deal as it was, I decided I needed more blank CDs instead.
