I think it is time to call Dell directly and complain!
And what if Dell did send you an email and you never got it? I've already seen at least one person who didn't and when they inquired about their rebates Dell indicated they should have gotten the email and should follow the instructions therein. I dunno about you but if I were in your position I'd be covering myself because you just know Dell will try and claim that you lose because you didn't respond to their request. Good luck trying to convince them you never got it.Originally posted by: TheDiggler
I never got one of those Dell e-mails others have received (requesting proof of eligibility); however, none of my rebates had even shown up on-line by then. I'm not going to call Dell at this time as I don't want to rock the boat. Once 8 weeks have passed, perhaps then I'll call.

As far as disputing the charges with your CC company, my understanding is that since Dell offered to take the merchandise back and offer a full refund, most CC companies will consider that an acceptable resolution and will not honor the dispute.

Other 4 are still being processed.
There is nothing wrong with my order no. or customer no. - I sent them the packing slip.
Has anybody called to see what this new Dell fiasco is about?
