4/5 of mine have been mailed (one of the $100 rebates has the message that order/customer number don't match, received apology email from dell, never got the info request one though). I sent my rebates in 11/30 and all showed up within 2 weeks on www.rebatestatus.com. On FW, some who called the rebate number have found that all 5 have been approved. I'll know in a few days if all were sent.

edit 2/3/03: received $100, $200, $170 and $140 rebates today.

Wo0t all 5 of the rebates are showing up at rebatestatus now just to wait for them to get finished proccessing and in my hands.

How much ram do you guys have in all of your systems? Some games were running sluggish with my geforce 4 ti4200, would an upgrade to 512mb ram help a lot?

Four of the rebates are showing that they were mailed on 1/30. The other has the now infamous message:

Dimension/Inspiron/Optiplex/Latitude Rebate

We have received your submission. We were unable to process your submission for the reasons indicated below.
Unfortunately, your Customer Account Number and Order Number are not valid.
You will receive a letter or postcard explaining this problem. The letter or postcard may have additional instructions
on how to correct this problem.

I have checked my paperwork. There was no problem. This rebate was filled in exactly the same as the others.

Is Dell trying to pull a fast one?:|

I just received the dreaded email.
Quoted is the entire contents. The last part THEY left off.
They can't even get their email straight.
I will call Customer service today and raise H*ll.
I purchased through the EPP program!

I just got the same e-mail.

The annoying part is: "Based on your e-mail address alone...."

If they are going to base authentication on e-mail addresses, they've got some bigger problems than this!

Why don't they use a bit of "common sense" and use the School name and Student ID that they asked for when we made the purchase!!! I suppose that would require them to think!!!

Nice computer though.......

I have the SAME problem like you have.... anyone has the same problem here???

Crap just got the FSS E-mail

I was wondering I have a number but I'm not sure if thats the FSS number

Its

"US(then 8 digits)"

is that the right format for the FSS number?

N/V found a thread on F\/\/ that listed the numbers and it can change from school but its the right number for my shool

still wating for the $100, and the other $100
$780 - 510 = $270 for a p4 2.4ghz dimension 8250 isn't too bad so far .. but when the last $200 comes, I'll feel much better.

Well, the four rebate checks showed up today (total $610). Didn't get the postcard for the one they have said is invalid, although it doesn't look like it will make any difference if it just contains the same information as the website.

Anyone have any ideas how to proceed from here? I'd like the money that is due me.

I received the same email today. I'm going to fax them a copy of my student ID tomorrow. I don't know my school's FSS ID nor does my school's store.

Received 140, 170 and 100. Another 100 is shown on the website. The 200 piece is missing. I dropped them an email.

Wolverine88: When did you send your rebates? I sent at Dec 7 and all posted before Christmas day. But after that, nothing happens.... just shows processing. BTW, which monitor you love most, I notice you have several. I am going to buy another one....
