Alright, a little late, but I guess procrastination is my thing.....I'm filling out the rebates right now, and I'm confused as to what's the packing slip and what's the invoice...I requested a copy from both of the links on the first post, but only received one PDF, that I know of....it's the exact same thing as what came in the mail from Dell, so I assume it's the invoice....but so then what do I use/need for the packing slip?

If someone could PM me, it'd be much appreciated. And if you could show me what they're supposed to look like, even better TIA

I mailed my rebates in early December. Two of them showed on rebatestatus over a week ago. The last three showed up yesterday. All were mailed on the same day. I guess I wouldn't be too concerned about a delay in all of them showing up on the site. It appears all 5 will be honored, for a total of $710.

On the other hand, my rebate-o-meter is still hovering near $1000....

The packing slip should have been attached to the outside of one of the boxes you received from Dell, or possibly inside one of them.

That's great. Mine is over $3,500!

Good news:

My parents (who bought one of the Dell's after I tipped them off on the deal), received all 5 of their rebate checks today for a total of $710. Two of their rebates were sent in via mail (postmark of 12/9 or 12/10), the rest were taken care of by a Dell CSR since there was a problem with my parents order (the order date was 11/26, but the confirmation date was 11/27).

This is looking good, the first legitimate evidence that all rebates are valid.

Unfortunately, only one of my rebates shows up on the rebate status website (sent on the 12/11). I sent all 5 of them again on the 1/8 just in case.

Only 1 of the 5 rebates are showing up at rebatestatus.com this is strange seeing how I sent another rebate about 1 week before that one and 3 others with the one that is showing up.

Hmm only 1 of mine showing as well, kept trying to fax them yesterday and it was busy all day long.

I called up Dell about a week and a half ago about that.
I spoke with a CSR named Jaime, explained that I opened up my CC statement and there was a charge for XXX that should have been for XXX.
She credited me back the difference to my card with no problems, I was very pleased with the way they handled it for me.

I sent in all 5 with USPS certified, took 2 days to get there, but only one shows up, the one for $100.

The other 4 are MIA.

I guess I will fax them over again this weekend... Dang rebates! argh!!

all mine finally show up on rebatestatus, took a while. BTW i used airborne express for shipment and they shipped overnight at their expense, i'm not complaining

I sent my rebates in the middle of December using just regular first class mail. The other day, I checked the status of all five rebates and lo and behold, 3 shows up. The 3 rebates total to $410 ($140, $170, and $100). Hopefully I will get the other two.

Whoa, I just called and this lady was like OH THANK YOU FOR CALLING ABOUT THIS.. I was like ok great heehe she said there was going to be an inquiry about it but it sholdn't be a problem she did not immediately credit me the difference but its ok.

I received the same email yesterday at 6pm EST... I didn't know my FSS member ID for my school so I just called dell and asked them what is was, and they gave it to me. Why they couldn't just look it up for themselves, I don't know. But I faxed them a copy of my tuition bill since my school doesn't give student IDs (community college). Hopefully everything goes thru ok.
