Not sure if you have to be a member to get this deal, but you'll need promo code: EMCMMMN43

Otherwise, for $25, you a get a refurbed board that'll support your Core2Duo. Obviously the promo code makes it an easy little steal, and I purchased two, hoping that I can find some other cheap parts to upgrade my brothers old box.

I know it's a refurb, but I have yet to find a 775 MB for less than $30 used or otherwise. Finding one for $15 is an absolute steal, IMO.

EDIT: Forgot linkage:

Well that was fast. Sorry to hear that. Glad I acted when I did, as I have been looking for a cheap 775 board for months.

I just purchased one, but I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with it .

Actually, I have planned to upgrade my mom's pseudo HTPC for some time now. Hopefully this will give me the incentive to do so.

Thanks for the deal.

I would avoid VIA like the plague. Does that thing even get new drivers?

Now then, if it could handle core 2 quads or a 1333mhz fsb, we'd have something to discuss.

Yep, I just ordered one. For $15, and with the number of LGA 775 systems I have sitting around, this is an excellent deal. Thanks a ton!

For $15, who cares? This is perfect to shove an old Pentium 4, Pentium D, or Core 2 Duo in. For me, I'm going to keep it just for diagnosis.

Just received my two, both look brand new. Didn't check for the manual though, but as far as I'm concerned, pretty much everything you need to know is written on the board. If not, they have them available as PDFs online I am pretty sure. Glad to see it came back around, had I noticed my thread was bumped, I would've removed the DEAD from the title.

I honestly don't get what the big deal is with people hating VIA. They ain't great, but from what I've seen, they've always been reliable/stable. I'm not much of an overclocker, so I don't know that I really care what it can/can't do in that area. And for $15, how could anyone complain if the board works. I already had one of these boards that I used for a while in a server, and then switched some boxes around and used it to upgrade my mom's PC. Now I just need to find some memory for these guys, and I should be able to put something together.

Impulse buy .. only got one, so now I need to dig up a 775 chip to permanently retire a well worn out S939 system.
