This drive is ringing up in most stores for $159.99 with 2 rebates ($50 and $40). Look for the WD 120 GB 7200 RPM 8MB cache HD in a Special Edition USB2/Firewire enclosure. Model number WDXC1200JBRNN.

If you don't see them on the shelf, have them check stock. If they don't show stock available, have them special order the item for you. You must pay the full amount on special order items for the rebate to print out. Don't pay the minimum as the price may be corrected by the time they get the drive and then you'll be sol.

So in the end $159.99 - $40 rebate - $50 rebate = $69.99 plus tax AR

Some people are reporting that the drive is still ringing up $159.99. Others are saying their stores haven't removed the old shelf tags so they are making CC pm their own shelf tag.

Another option for those that want this drive is to have CC pm Sam's Club's price on the drive. Sam's has it for $174.73 (sku 746016). If you get the pm, you'll only end up paying about $8.00 more for the drive AR than those who got in on the price mistake.

Well... I tried here in Douglasville and they did have the price changed in the system already.... HOWEVER.... thye did not remove the price tags that showed the 169 -90 rebate. Took a little complaining / pointing out that the price was different and handing them the original tag from the shelf but they eventually sold me the drive at the deal price.

THANKS GUYS! $160 racked onto my credit card and $90 coming back soon I hope. Nice looking drive...not as big as I thought it was going to be...and it included a firewire and usb cable...heck those things are $10 each at Walmart..hehe! They only had 1, otherwise I would have bought another 2 at least.

I got one on Sunday and tried to use a staples coupon but it didn't print out properly. I then printed out a good copy of the coupon and took it into CC explaining the situation. The customer service rep was very nice and polite as he gave me credit for the coupon. When all is said and done, my drive will have cost me $46 and change including tax but after rebates

I read on B$ that at least 1 person was able to get one this morning for $159.99 before rebates. He said at his store they're still ringing up at the incorrect price.

Apparently being able to use a coupon is a ymmv but I have managed to use one before. Your CC may be more receptive if a Staples is nearby.
