I think we are looking at a two return once we send out the form and the paycheck, after that it will be another couple of days to actually get the thing shipped out
Oh well, it's worth the wait.

I read somewhere on there that the deal can be done anywhere between now and January or December (can't remember for sure). Does that mean I could get a part-time job at Best Buy any time between those dates and still get in on the deal? Or would I already have had to be an employee when the deal started?

What about a special code or something? Do I need to have a postcard with a code on it as well? I don't want to get this job and find out I need a postcard with a code on it that I can't get anymore.

Does anyone know if being a supervisor at best buy would qualify? It says computers/software sales, or manager, but nothing about supervisor.

"We apologize for the registration problem that you are experiencing and we are working to resolve this quickly.
You should be able to complete your registration and have access to the Intel® Retail Edge Program by Friday 11/1/02 at the latest. Of course, we want you to experience all of the information and benefits of the site and will update you as soon as we resolve this registration issue."


Looks like I've got to wait a couple days.

Again, i think it was mentioned already, but you have to work in the computer department in the store your at

i emailed intel myself, and asked since i worked in the merch department at best buy, they still said, don't waste your time applying for the deal

its not like i never sell intel products, i talk to customers all the time at best buy, ive even sold a few intel computers, well, now i know where my loyalties lay

Well, its 11/01/02 and guess what? They did fix the problem! They just took Wal-Mart off their list of retailers!
Thats right! I guess we shouldn't give a crap about any of the intel products we sell! either they could just care less about us or
they just couldn't figure out their store number problem. Either way it looks really bad for them to have done this.

Yeah, they took Sam's Club out too.. I guess it was just too much work for them to enter all the store numbers. Its a real shame, didnt think they would cut corners like this.
