YOU ARE LIAR !! NO INTEL FOR YOU !!

Hmmm... get a job at best buy for the 4-8 weeks it would take to verify and ship.... the BB job could almost pay for it

Likewise, thanks Viper22.

I agree, I am not eligible so I am passing. I just read a few reviews and think that the deal is very hot.

Lets not ruin it for those who are elegible.

I work at Wal-Mart and was wondering if that was enough for me to qualify or do you have to work in electronics or something?

hey moron, this is not a hot deal, and you're an idiot for posting this. Thanks for ruining the deal for all of us who honestly deserve this deal.

Everytime something like this comes up, some moron like yourself kills it with this thread. Even if they don't qualify, some cheaters will now apply for it and jam up the system for all of the right people.

Go to hell.

I posted this for the people who are eligible and did not know about it. Calm the hell down....Intel always verifies employment when you order these. Personally I did not even know about this until last night when one of my co-workers told me and ive done all the quizes in order so far. Yes this is a hot deal for those who qualify and I know there are quite a few of us on this Forum.

Now on to the other questions: Are the products retail? As far as i know yes....every one of these that ive purchased over the years have all been retail boxed products.

I am going to see if i can put together a list of eligible employers...

Go to hell.

Sheeze. The only moron I saw in this thread was cmbehan. The deal is only good for certain people. Just because more people know about it doesn't mean it's going to be ruined. They probably have a certain number available for this promotion and they're going to keep selling them to valid employees till they are all gone, regardless of how many other weenies try and get something they're not entitled to. As to not being a helpful post, heck, most of the people that are eligible probably aren't even aware of it. As for your actually deserving it, I don't believe anyone deserves a bribe from microsoft to push their crap. "...honestly deserve...", hehehe.

Bah, damn Intel and their exclusive list of eligible retail companies. I work for a retail store as a computer tech, explain the benefits of an Intel CPU on an Intel board to the many customers who ask, custom-build Intel-based systems every day, and let's not forget all the Intel Channel Conferences that start at 8 in the damn morning :| . But is my store on the list? No! Hmm, I'm going to another Intel conference on Tuesday...maybe I can talk to one of the reps there and get our store on the list.

I'm gonna apply at bestbuy and/or compusa...they need all the quality help they can get. As soon as I have this deal in my hands I'm quitting saying the stress level was too high. Anyone who works retail do they have part-time openings like 6-9 or 6-10PM?

Damnit. I just quit Officemax 2 weeks ago to go back to college. Can anyone hook me up, im building a comp for my parents for christmas.

It's this kind of thing that WILL get this thread locked.
Please retail only!

Whats the big deal?? You can only get one...and if someone wants to sell theres for someone is there a problem with that? I did this years ago back when they were selling p3-400's with an intel se440bx motherboard...i eventually sold mine. Then at the next intel training seminar I won a p450+motherboard in a raffle. dont be so quick to be forum police.

The terms you agree to when you get one of these deals says specifically that you cannot sell this item, nor can you gift it to ANYONE....so what you are describing is as wrong as the schmucks who will apply for this.

Tthis is not similar to signing up for on a website and posing as some employee or owner of some fake business ...you need to get verified by INTEL from your employer, and I believe last time an Intel rep needed a form signed from my manager to goto the training event to get the cpu+motherboard deal. So I don't see how this will possibly effect legitimate users...this thread is just to get legitimate employees of those listed retailers the information that this deal exists...... so those of you all paranoid about the anandtech effect whether or not you qualify can take a friggin chill pill. And I sold my board and CPU that i got 3 years ago after I used it for 2 months... are they gonna arrest me now? Get off your moral high horse... oh yeah I also remove the tags off my mattresses....I'm above the law! YOU shmuck.

btw, i dont know if you have to attend a seminar or not for this one but the ones i went to when I was an employee at compusa back in the day was about the same thing as a brain washing session. It was funny how people were yelling out AMD! during the presentations tho....this was before overclocking....

Does anyone know how long you have to be an employee at one of these stores? I would be willing to get a job at Best Buy in their PC dept if I didn't have to have it for that long.

You betcha! Well I need a job anyway, but BB wouldn't pay more than I get from Unemployment so that is why I would only want it for a couple weeks max.

Anyone think they will verify your position at work? If so I guess the only person eligible at Sam's is the store manager.
