In a amusing turn of events, an Intel representative contacted me and verified that I *will* be recieving my promotional code, and it has been shipped today. He apologized for the delay, and explained that due to numerous fraudulent claims, they have to step up their verification process to help prevent future cases. Which, personally, I think is great! I'd like to thank Intel (because, now I know they READ this board.. lol) for their prompt response to my problem, and for their excellent communication!

More batches are being shipped, so don't fret, you'll most likely get yours (unless of course you willingly falsified the information, then may you burn in hell.)

Hey guys - An update for you all....I just got a call here at work and was told that the last 3800 codes were sent out on Friday. Anyone who has not gotten it that is eligible should be getting the codes sometime this week. Im not going to be posting any more updates until i get my code and get my package ordered. Good luck all.

ON behalf of everyone else, I thank you for your hard work in keeping us all informed. I got my code about 10 days ago and I just ordered it last night (also thought of buying the tshirt for about 10 bucks) and I am finally getting myself a second computer (shh dont tell the guys in the DC forum, I am in a race and I want everyone to guess at how I kicked the guys butt!)

I too just recieved a call from an Intel rep.. He let me know that i was verified and that my code is on the way, and told me to let him know if i had any problems at all.. now THAT'S some customer service! I was worried but now my fears are now at rest.. He also told me there were some fraudulent applicants (jeez.. some people ).. anyways, i applaud intel for doing the right thing - weeding out the frauds (best they could) and taking care of the real (legit) customers!

the guy just called me out of the blue.. it was totally unexpected.. said he has been watching this thread.. have some faith guys.. if you sent everything in correctly, and you are elligable, give it a few more days.. he said it took a little longer to weed out the frauds, and they sent out a ton of codes on friday AND monday (today) in the morning.. give it another few days, it seems like they have it under control

Received my code in the mail today. Completed the online order about five minutes ago, waiting for the confirmation e-mail now but it should be smooth sailing from here. Anyone know how long the standard ($16.00) shipping takes to arrive up in Canada?

When did you mail your information in? Also did you have direct deposit? Where are you located? I sent mine almost 6 weeks ago now and I have heard nothing. You info would be helpful.

Sent it in on the 23rd of oct. and yes I do have direct deposit, work for BBY and live In ILL.
