Ok, guys, it takes like 2 days for them to reply to email's, maybe even longer now, i asked if the cpu comes with heatsink/fan, 2 days later they responded back

they said to the best of their knowledge it does come with heatsink/fan

No matter if it does or doesn't, im still going to get the volcano 7+

cause i have a thermaltake xaser A6000A, and it would look quite stunning

9:32PM EST, still no test. I hate this, I just finished building my XP 2200+ system (for more than $175, I might add) and now this comes along. *sigh* Decisions, decisions. Keep the XP, or keep the P4? AMD or Intel? Paper or plastic? Err..

In any event, I'm not going to pass this up.. I'll get it, and decide then.. can't keep both (wife would have a sh*tfit). Bleh.

if you would have read the official rules i posted from the intel/retailedge site, you would know, that anyone that sells the budle to you, will become ineligable from future intel promotions, so good luck trying to find someone to sell the cpu/mobo bundle

I hope all of you caught the fact that you're forbidden to SELL these products if you're eligible to buy them.
I'm not sure how they'll check on you, but buying this package and then selling it permanently cuts you out of any future Intel offers.

Is there any way for intel to know you dont still have the board? A good friend of mine is a manager at Best Buy, and I think this would make a good "gift" for me, and I'm sure he would agree.

actually they do track it with their new mobo, they are using the SPI on the mobo to report back to intel everytime this system goes online (that is why there is a finger print scanner on the motherboard) and it conveys your info, SN, CC (that is why you got such a good deal.. 179 payment every year for the next 3 years), etc.


joking, i don't think there is any physical way to track if you sell the stuff anyways... but who knows

Really, guys, those of you saying "You can't sell it, you'll get blacklisted..." C'mon. You're smart people. Unless someone makes a warranty claim and Intel tracked the serial numbers for the boards as they sent them out and registered them to the owners, the boards won't be traced. Not for resale generally means in a retail capacity. I think that if someone wanted to conduct a private transaction, and perhaps make a couple of $$ for their time, there's nothing wrong with that.

Having said that, I'm tossing my hat in...anyone looking to make those couple of $$ and not interested in the hardware for themselves, I'd like to hear from you. Thanks
