I've missed a question or two on a couple of the quizzes, no big deal. It doesn't get counted anywhere - just as long as you do 3/5 or better, I think.

I got my e-mail right away (60 secs after completion at 9:30 PM EST). Sure your incoming e-mail isn't just clogged up? Or maybe Intel has a problem on their end sending to you? Either way they left contact information just in case for you to check out. No problem.

I recieved the registration e-mail from them when I signed up and I am pretty sure my e-mail isnt just clogged up. I jsut sent a test message from my 2ndary e-mail and it went through in a matter of seconds.

I am not the rule police at all and this is not a personal attack against you. But it is people like you that ruin deals for everyone else. If you do not qualify move on while i wait for my postcard to comeback so i can order.

Think of it this way...how is he ruining this deal? If someone is eligible and gets the deal just to sell it, who cares...maybe the person selling the combo has bills to pay or kids to feed. The way I see it, most of the people who do qualify (retail folks at chain stores) are in an income bracket that isn't much above poverty :frown:

I will second commOdog's offer of $250 for this deal, if anyone wants to get rid of their combo...for a good reason

Oh nooooo...we are not going to see a debate on whether or not a 40 year old bagger at a grocery store is successful are we? It is actually refreshing to see someone actually carry a sense of pride about themselves for a change....I just wish they would do it at their job as well. I called Staples at 5:50 p.m. on Sunday to check inventory on a Laptop...I was disconnected (hung up on) twice, then after calling back a third time, someone finally answered and informed me the store was closed at 6:00!! They jerked me around for ten minutes and avoided having to help me. Employees like this deserve a great deal!!!

Hey im an enlisted puke in the army, if that doesn't qualify as close to poverty, then I don't know what does.
I have some money stashed away from my last deployment and I wanna build a new pc, what the hell is wrong with asking someone if they want to sell their stuff. How to get the email. When the second window opens, click on Get yours. Do the quizzes, and then locate the You're Eligible! area, click on the 'Click here' area. I was waiting for 3 hours but once i did that it sent the email.

These combos are valued at over $700. Just because someone is getting them at a deal, doesn't mean they're going to sell them for one ($250). If I was going to invalidate myself from future offers, I'd like to at least make it worth my while. But what do I know. He meant to say "comes with no RAM", which is true indeed. However, the second part of hoxlund's statement is now false. The Intel D845EBT2 (note the trailing 2) motherboard allows use of PC2700 (333 MHz DDR) memory.
