I'm not much of a booster for either Intel or AMD, I just go for the best price/performance combo I can afford for what I'm building.
If what we're seeing is right and they are messing with legitimate REPs, Intel will pay for it dearly.
I don't mind if they want to price their stuff higher than AMD, but when they offer me something like this, they had better follow through.
They won't like me when I'm angry....

Intel seems to taking their sweet time coming thru with this deal. I thought that it would be much easier. I next day aired my information to them on Oct 24th, and they received the 25th around 10 a.m. CST, and I have heard nothing back from them. Emailing them doesn't help, it seems like I get nothing but scripted responses. I hope it comes soon.

Not much to explain. Intel yesterday called the HR department of my store and verified that I work there. The HR type who took the call passed on the message that I should be receiving a card in the next few days from Intel with some sort of code on it. The HR type had no knowedge of the program, so no questions were asked about the program.

I took the tests and submitted my paperwork the same day the 6th test was posted.

I emailed intel about the delay in getting my code. They said they are overwhelmed with the number of people requesting codes, blah, blah, blah.

Funny thing is I received my code in the mail 3 days later!

Well still no code for me so far.....no clue what in the heck the hold up is since i sent my info in 36 days ago and most of my coworkers have gotten theirs already and they sent their info in over a week after me. If my code does not show up in my mail tommarrow im going to be sending a nasty email to find out why. :disgust:

Like Viper, I sent my info in on the first mail serviced day after completing the last required training module at Intel's website. Checked today's mail with great anticipation...no code. Hurry up Intel! If it's not here on Monday, I'll start making inquiries. At least one of my coworkers has already gotten and ordered his.

got my code today and ordered 193.32 total....... damn this black friday sucked me dry

mobo cpu xp combo, 4 80gb HDs and 1 120gb HD in the past week, LCD, DVDRW, Case... i just need a vidcard then i'm done with a system...

Now i gotta get a freaking ATA HD, since the intel mobo uses ATA....... grrrrr maybe thats y they're lowering the IDE drives?
