Just dug around there...can't find anything.
Maybe one of you guys can help me...firstly, does it seem like a load of crap that there is no phone support for Intel mobos? According to web site, all phone support for the mobos are a pay-per-call kinda deal. So if your system crashes, you have to email them for help? Does that make any sense at all?
Other than that, here's my problem. Running Antec case with SmartPower 350W power supply, just bought for this rig. Anyhow, when I put the system into sleep mode, it doesn't really go to sleep...all of the fans remain running (processor, ps, case, video card), and power is still routed out the USB. According to tech sheets, all system fans should turn off when system is in any of the suspend modes (S1 or S3), and I've tried both, along with fan control on and off, and the stupid thing STILL won't power down. WinXP Pro will go to sleep, and you can hear the drives spin down, and all that's left is the sounds of the fans...any suggestions?
And along those same lines, I've got 2 case fans running with the 4 pin connectors. Anyone think it would be better to switch over to 3 pin fans and let the "Intel Precision Cooling technology" control the speed of the fans to perhaps get the volume down?
Thanks!
