Well, I have enough anytime minutes left on my cell phone this month to attempt a 15 minute call if needed. Depends if they answer my e-mails or not.

called up a support phone # for intel. CSR told me that the retailegde only has e-mail support, though viper got a phone number sounds like. any ways, e-mailed them, just waiting on a response, guess they are back logged a couple of weeks.

still haven't received my code so I called that number and the woman I spoke to was worthless
she said there was basically nothing they could do - no codes will be resent and there's no way to look up whether or not I was approved
she blamed Intel for holding them from sending codes until recently

if anyone else wants to call to see if they speak to someone else, I got through to a rep immediately and there was no option to enter an extension, so if you call, you might want to ask to get transferred to that extension, maybe the person at x103 was more helpful?

i just spoke to the PC treasures people

first call: i spoke to this girl that said they shipped the codes out friday and that she couldn`t check to see if i was on there database cause they were adding stuff to it

what kinda BS is that???

second call:
the same lady said that they`re gonna be shipping again this friday and that there is no way on earth they can check their databases to see who's on it and who's not!!!

i just told her that she had told me something totaly different about 2 minutes ago(in case she didn`t remember me)and that their company is crap and hang up on her!

what kinda company is that? i'm wondering if intel contracted them to work for them for free just to advertise their name

oh well we`ll wait another day and see what happens , this is really taking forever!!!!

by the way the same person told me about a week ago that my name was on the database and they they shipped the codes last week

I work for a computer store in Montreal Canada from 2 years and i am a Hardware Salesperson but my store is not on the list . What sould i do next year to be allowed in deals like this ? We sold about 10- 14 Computers with Intel CPU each month . Sould i E-mail Intel with the name of my store with telephone Nr. or what exactly sould i do ?

Guys.....I would not bother to call PC Treasure and bug them or be rude to them etc......all they do is the verifications etc. As for how i got a # for a person at Intel they called me. Again im gonna state that im not giving out the number so dont even ask. If you are still waiting on your code etc. i would email them to see what they can do.

agreed, being rude to PC T is not going to help the situation. viper....i never asked for the #, and as far as e-mail, intel rep said they are back logged a week or so, i.e. e-mail sent last week.......still no word. though phillip is probably annoyed with all of us....poor guy answering e-mails all day about people bitching about not getting their codes. i think ill just wait til i get a response, i really dont care when i get the code......just as long as I get a code.

Email must be backlogged big time, I sent an email on Friday and still no response. The email that I sent a month ago was responed to the next morning. I do feel sorry for Phillip, poor guy. He probably had no idea what he getting himself into. Finger crossed and hoping for a code this week....

This deal went to the grave a few weeks ago I believe. Although this deal still haunts those that haven't received their codes yet, myself included and I was an early responder. Maybe tomorrow, fingers crossed!!!

dead meaning they arnt accepting any more orders. you can still take the courses and enter to win stuff but if you havnt sent in your info, no mobo and p4 for you, sorry

As far as I know Phillip email is the retailedge email address, I have corresponded with him and twice and that is how I contacted him. Not much help I know, as I am still waiting on an email I sent almost a week ago. Waiting Waiting......

I can understand everyone's frustration. I think that there isn't much we can do. I sent mine in on Oct 24th Next Day Air, one day after the promo began and mine was undoubtably one of the first ones that they received. I think the best that everyone can do is email Retailedge once maybe twice and cross their fingers in hope that the postcard will arrive SOON. I wouldn't email them too often as it would just add to the backlog. I don't think PC Treasures will be of any help, and poor Phillip is probably up to his neck in emails and phone calls already. Good Luck too everyone. Hope it comes soon.

As for calling, all I want is simple verification that my code was actually sent and not rejected. That is all. We have misdirected mail all the time at my apartment complex (I get someone else's mailing about once every 6 days or so) and for all I know, one of my neighbors got that postcard/letter and thought it was junk mail and has thrown it away.

And come tomorrow, I will be going out of town for about two weeks with no access to my snail mail. Good luck to you too, Chucko. Hopefully you're in a better situation than me.

The reason I care is because people have sent me PM's asking for the phone # etc. which is annoying. If you havent gotten your code then im sorry but nothing I can do about it....that has to be taken up with Intel. If you dont like my attitude then dont read my posts....its as simple as that. I am just providing info for everyone else...if you dont like it than oh well.
