I don't appreciate your attitude and I feel that any of us who haven't received our codes have waited long enough. I've never received a response to any of my emails so that's not an option. Either post the Intel number or mind your own damn business.

Viper don't listen to this guy. I agree with you completley about contacting PCtreasures, they won't be able to help anyone with their code, however if you called me up and made a jerk out of yourself I WOULD make sure someone @ Intel knew about it so you wouldn't get your code.

i feel oddice's frustration. still no code today, it would be nice to talk to an actual rep to make sure they got everything ok. frankly, i dont care when i get the code.....as long as i get one. oddice, lot of people in your situation with no code yet, calm down dude. you might say that if viper didnt post this deal, someone else would have. i say maybe true, but that other person probably wouldnt have updated us as often and kept with the deal looking out for his fellow AT users. for that, i thank you viper.

dunno which intel rep is reading the forums. a PM with a phone # would be nice, thanks, and thanks to phillip. my fingers are crossed.

you gotta remember when you didn`t have your code yet , you we actualy posting on the forum that if someone had a number so that u can contact intel yourself!!!

don`t forget that!!

also the people that didn't receive their codes yet which i`m one of, are just trying to figure out what`s happening,

i actualy contact pc treasures again , they we useless as usual saying that they can`t check their database till after the new year but i got to talk to a lady that was nice and told me that even if you were denied you will get something in the mail saying why it would be denied , so everyone should receive something!!!

so let all keep our fingers crossed and wait to get something in the mail

I understand Oddice being pissed. I am pissed about it myself.
On the other hand, Viper22 was being kind enough to donate his time to help out. There was NO obligation on his behalf to CONTINUE to help us after a certain point (even before he got his code).
He has full right NOT to give out the phone # as whoever it is asked not to give it out AND would get FLOODED with phone calls all asking the same exact thing.

Hopefully what the person at PCT told Joe was correct: that everyone who did or didn't qualify will get something in the mail telling them so. I doubt it, but hopefully it's true...and yes it would be great if someone at Intel could respond to e-mail or even to this forum to have a little 'crowd-control', but it's good that they at least check on it.

i agree, flooding poor phillip with phone calls is not going to help, he is already swamped with our e-mails. thats why i think 1 person should call just to get an update. viper has done alot already and i appreciate it, if he doesnt want to give out the #, perhaps he could call to get an update???? plz?

move your begging and cheap bids to the For Sale/Trade forum, maybe put a WTB. i havnt even gotten my code, much less the combo, but from reading i think it comes out to around 191 or something like that with an msrp of over 700. thanks for the laugh mystikal

Sorry guys, didn't mean to lowball there...I didn't realize it cost $200, like I said, if someone wants to hook it up with a little Xmas present, if theyre not going to use it, I'd be willing to pay $50 more thatn whatever you did....I have no intent to resell like most of you do, I wish I did work for a retail employer as something like this would be of great help to me....

I do realize that I asked for a phone # one time in this thread (which i didnt get ) Trust me i know how it feels to still be waiting. Yea i have gotten my code and product already but im not going to abandon the thread because of that. Any info i get I will post but since i have my stuff already not much will be coming my way. Just remember they got a heck of a lot of responses so it does take time to verify people especially when there are frauds involved. It took 6.5 weeks for my code to come in. As i get info I will post it but i dont see much of it coming in.

Still no code yet. I sent my info in around the first week of Nov. I'm just as frustrated as others! To make matters worse, I received an email from intel titled special registration today. It's the same stuff that I have already sent in! On a promising note, the email states that they are holding one of the bundles for me! But I don't want to wait another month or so!

I too am extremely frustrated by this deal. My patience has wore so thin that I am almost to the point of giving up on the deal. I don't think that there is ANYTHING that I or many of you can do to get your code any faster. Emailing doesn't seem to help, and we no other way of contacting them. Although if he had another way of contacting them we would probably be told to hold tight and wait and wait and it will eventually come. I sent my code in Next Air on Oct 24th and they received mine the 25th. Mine was undoubtably one of the first codes that they received and I have still ever so patiently waiting. I would advise everyone to do the same.

If you qualify and got you stuff submitted in time, with time EVERYONE should get their codes. Hoping and Waiting for 54 days here, so just be patient and it will come. I think that Viper is doing the right thing by not sending out the number, if he did it would do nothing but slow the process down for everyone. If 50 people called and got their code quicker, then 2000 other people may have their code delayed even longer. Being one of the first to submit, I have no problem patiently waiting a little longer. If it weren't for the frauds and the guy who is ordering the system for his buddy we may all have not our codes, but our bundles by now.


GOOD LUCK to everyone and I hope they arrive soon. I have my fingers crossed.

Talked to a woman there who said that she couldn't provide a phone number for Retail Edge, but she said she could look up my info and sure enough, mine has been sent - but quite a while ago. So she said she'd contact Retail Edge to look into why I haven't received my code. Surprise, surprise, I had a legitimate complaint - thanks for the help Viper22. :disgust:

Also, she said they are still sending out codes (I remember a post a couple of pages back that the person was told all codes had finally been sent).

If you feel that it's wrong for me to post this number, then don't call.

intel phone # wont do a lot of good anyway. the retailedge program doesnt have an offical customer service #. i think that phillip just called up viper. viper you said you havnt abandoned the thread and wont give out the phone number, which i understand. would you mind making a call with the number you got and talking to phillip about an update? im like running to check my snail mail everyday. if there was only a certain day they mail them, i.e. every friday. that information would be nice cuz then i would know only to look on mondays. things like that. i understand why your not giving out the #, and im not asking you to. phillip has our e-mails, he doesnt need couple thousand phone calls. thats why a simple call from you viper would get some good info.

oddice....im not saying that you dont have a legitimate complaint which you definatly do with having to wait this long. Thats not the number that I have and CheapArse has it correct I was contacted by Phil at Intel....who gave me the # so I could call him back if i had any problems etc. Thats the main reason i decided not to post it......its not a customer service line its a direct # to him. If you dont like what ive posted in the past than oh well....im not trying to be an ass about it etc. I will see if i can get a chance to Call Phil and find out whats going on though with Christmas coming up i dont know if I will get to since we have been pretty busy at work etc.

no direct deposit here, I edited my post to statet hat I requested a code exactly 1 week after they released this deal sometime in late November. IF you didn't order it by fraud, you should get your code. Before I got it today, I also emailed them again to verify that i was approved, and they sent me a email saying i was approved. You might want to try that.

viper, dont waste any more of your own time explaining about phil's #. people, viper was intrusted with the #, phil called him, phil doesnt want to talk to you, stop wasting viper's time. he said he isnt going to post it, get over it. just wait for phil to e-mail response. still no code for me, at frist i get mad, then i take a step back and realize that:

they are sending a card no matter what: rejected, here is your code.....
phil is working hard to answer everyone's question, and he is doing a great job so far. intel's fault for not preparing for this amount of responses to their promotion, phil just doing his job
and intel is saving me a crap load of money....$700 worth of hardware for $200, what a damn good deal
