I sent my verification the day after the final quiz but I had direct deposit and the store that was listed on the website no longer existed plus after I signed up they removed the store off the list.

I can safely say that if I got the code then everyone else should as well. The quickest way to get your code is to assume you wont get your code and give up trying, that's what I did and a day later I got it

Sign on to www.intel.com/retailedge

and when the little box for retail edge pops up, click on the bottom tab that says make contact, and that is how you email them.

For anyone who has gotten the combo...have you had any problems with it overheating? Did you take the thermal pad off and add Thermal compound...just PM me if you have any ideas

The retail heatsink/fan combo that is with it is quite good. My chip normally runs about 90F most of the time...gets to the mid 90's when running games etc. No problems at all with it overheating. I got a C1 stepping on the chip i got.....pack date on the box for the chip was 11/08/02.

I sent an email to retailedge@intel.com and they replied back to me that i had been verified and would be receiving the code soon and low and behold the next day i had it. so there may still be hope for some of you folks that haven't received it. just thought i'd let those of you who haven't received it know cause i was bout to give up hehe.

The cpu is still worth about $215 and the mobo will run about $125.

It is a standard looking envelope.....return address is PCT. It could be mistaken for junk mail so make sure to open everything you get!

Still nothing. Got a response after a week from Retailedge telling me absolutely nothing I didn't already know.
Didn't tell me if I was verified (which I asked). I have a feeling that if I did in fact get a code sent to me, it was given to someone else in the apartment building which was done today.
This sucks...big time!

My wife got an email stating they would hold one for her because she was on marternaty leave

She just had to have her stuff mailed my 31 dec.

It went out about two weeks ago.

2 other co-workers sent out for the bundle. One before me and one after me. The one after me got his bundle, the one after me at least received a letter stating that it was too late/blah blah blah...
I still haven't received jack and from the looks of it won't. Looks like I'll have to completely drop an Intel plan and go with the Watercooling rigs for my Athlon XP.

If they can't have a somewhat responsible company taking care of their verifications, doesn't say much about Intel since they approved of using PCT. I'd still feel the same way even if my code came in the mail today. This was handled as poorly as possible and they know it. To top it off, I STILL haven't received an e-mail back from anyone at Intel keeping me abreast of the simple questions I asked...like: "I just want to know if I was verified or not" "and if so, was the code even mailed out".

Yeah, I was curious on this as well. I was surprised that the heatsink had the thermal pad on it and that Intel didn't include thermal compound to use instead. I'm definitely a fan of the thermal compound because of its effectiveness over the performance of a thermal pad. Right now my machine runs between 90-97 (F) in idle mode, and gets up to about 125-130 (F) during full processor usage. So far no problems, but I do wish I would have taken the pad off and used compound to begin with. I like running a "cooler" machine.

Don't forget you get a full version copy of Windows XP Professional in the pack as well. That's worth $299 retail, and if you really want to sell it......$130-$140 easy on EBAY. That's what I ended up doing - sold the XP Professional for $130. That brings my TOTAL PACKAGE COST for the processor and motherboard down to only $70. MANY, MANY THANKS to the person who originally broke news of this deal. I was skeptical, but I was able to get in and my new 2.53GHz rig is working just fine!
