This is really strange... It seems as if though EVERY store I choose is out of stock. I just went by office depot today to ship off a package using UPS and saw 2-3 pacific digital 24x10x40's on the shelf. And then I try to add them in my cart online when I got home and it's OOS. My local OD is very hesitant of letting me use the online coupon =\ Damn them...

DAWeinG....do what I did.....Since you know they have them at the local store....Order them online for delivery...You will be able to use the coupon that way too. After you order the item...Call up Customer Service and ask for them to change it to a pick up order. They will check inventory and if they are in stock, you sould be able to pick it up at the store. Worked for me...should have picked it up tonight, but they lied to me about what time the store closed. So I will have it in my hands first thing tomorrow morning. Ummm, maybe I should open up the one I got from Staples last week and then return the one I get from OD back to Staples.

Well I just called a PD CSR about the rebate and it has been confirmed that you can order online (which lets you use the coupon discount ) then make a copy of your e-mail confirmation and send that in with the packing slip and the UPC and rebate form and all will be honored so that comes out like this:

OD online doesn't seem to realtime inventory. I wanted to purchase the HP 1115 printer back in December, and the online store indicated that they were OOS in four stores that I checked. However, what's really sad is that I was physically at one of the stores, and they had two printers sitting on the shelf. Another store that I called said that they have a few too. Unfortunately I was not able to get the deal

It's not that, some items are special order. For those items it doesn't mater if they have 100 of them in the store. They have to have one in the distribution center for your area. They then ship "yours" to the store for pickup. I had the same problem with a KDS rad-5.

OK I went through Skywalkers link to $30 off $100 "new customer". Ordered the drive and a box of pencils,which I need anyway. The confirmation did not reflect the $30 dicount. Called CSR she said when I recieve the item to call back and they would credit my account. Well called back new CSR needed the coupon code, found a code. She says it must be expired but she would still credit the $30. Now with the new rebate for $30, I am happy.

jimmyhaha I am wondering wether or not PD will be doing a good job about sending out rebates...I called them up today to ask how strict they are about the Original Receipt. The CSR said very, which is not all that good for me. Mine looks like it is a copy, since the printer at the OD I went to was acting up. Also, if you read the rebate form it says "Original Office Depot cash register receipt". Well poop, The OD I goto usually prints out an Invoice instead....Hope they don't care too much.

Any one here get their rebate back yet or been denied it?
