approx. 7+GB size ..1-2 minutes analyze..depending on compression as little as 13 to as long as 40(deep analysis) then burn @8x with proper media in 8 mins or so..

That's not to say liteon doesn't have problems either..NEC seems like the drive to have.

Go to CD Freaks NEC forum and you'll see all kinds of people complaining about the 2500A. Very picky about media, poor firmware support, and reading errors.

uhm..yes depending on your rig ..currently have 14 IE windows open and burning one now on an DW800A while watching XRM w/Winamp 5 ..DaRude ..Sandstorm

i don't think i've ever had that many IE windows open at once... maybe 10 at most

yeah really... I never have more then 3-4 tops, but it sounds like firebird/mozilla tabbed browsing was built for you

Ya wanna know a sick thing... I ran to OfficeMax last time, and scored a beige 851s for 79.99 due to the subs. I also scored a 25 pack of the media for $10 after rebate. I have even since recieved the rebate. I was so excited. When I got home, I even noticed that the face plate was identical to my black lite-on 52-32-52 cdr that I have. So I swapped the face plates and put the now beige cdr in my wife's computer and put the beautiful 8X black DVD burner in my computer....... Here is the sick part..... I have yet to even burn a single DVD. I have burned a couple of cd's with it, but not a single DVD yet. The package of media was only opened to remove th UPC. This forum is evil... and I love it!
