I have this printer, Epson C40, works great for me, its not a photo printer. Replaced my lexmark 3200.

Works well for me too. The ink didn't last terribly long - I probably only printed less than 200 pages before the ink light came on. And I don't like the "ink level" feature, since it doesn't really monitor the level of the ink left, just how much it estimates there to be. It was still printing fine when it told me it was 'out of ink'.

But I'll just pickup a couple of cheap ink cartridges at 4inkjets.com; not a bad deal for a free AR/AC printer!

Anyone checked out the D-Link webcam for free after rebate? It lists it as having a $15 mail in rebate on the ad, but when you go to the website it only lists a $10 mail in rebate that expired yesterday. So I went into the store today and purchased the webcam and grabbed one of the rebate directories, and the only rebate it lists for this webcam is STILL just a $10 mail in rebate that expired yesterday. Anyone know where I can find the $15 mail in rebate?

I just called the rebate center twice and got two answers about the Peachtree rebate eligibility based on purchase location to see if it will be valid for online orders.

The first CSR answered that it might work but it might not so she advised me to be safe and buy it only at the Brick and Mortar store.

The second CSR told me that he had to check with his supervisor. He returned with the answer that since it says "at Officemax Stores only", that means it will only be honored at B&M stores and not online or by phone. I asked why it is advertised with the product on the website and he said that doesn't matter it still could still be rejected and that the website must have a misprint of the rebate. :Q It's a good rebate but $165 is a lot to risk in this case.

What do you think OfficeMax.com is? It's a OfficeMax store localed on the internet. If you look at other rebate on officeMax or other site, you will see the same thing.
BTY : the Peachtree accounting 2003 is now OOS on-line, so it doesn't matter now.

OfficeMax is always slowwwwwww updating their web site, sometime they don't finish until Monday. I always order item that are not update anyway and then call up and tell the CSR to adjust prices on my order. I had to do that today on the Best Data modem I ordered on-line.

That's what I thought too but when I called they told me it's B&M only. Other customers have said they called and were told B&M only too. You can argue your case well though if they try to deny the rebate by showing the rebate was advertised online.

I picked up the scanner from this deal. Total comes out to $20 AR.


However, in store, the scanner is actually the 3100 model, while online the scanner is the 3000 model. They are the same price and have the same rebates. This is my first scanner, but I must say that so far this scanner is awesome. There are a ton of features and the scanner is SUPER quiet. I love the quality of the scans (so far have only done text). It's great because with the time I have spent using this scanner, I would have already paid Kikos like $100 in time and usage fees .
