did anyone actually got the 1904z model?
i got the 1904adu.
i wonder if we can ask for the price difference between these two models.
For the hundredth (ok, third) time, they are the SAME THING!!!
I don't believe this is the case. Although the specs on the display (contrast, brightness, resolution) are the same, the 1904z model came with 4 usb ports while the 1904adu comes with only 2. Not a big difference but I believe the two models are different.
From Planar's FAQ
Question
I purchased a CT1904Z, why does the monitor that was shipped say CT1904ADU? Did I get the wrong monitor?
Answer
As we are introducing new product, we often use development model names that we have no intention of using on released product. Unfortunately, in a recent production build of Planar's model CT1904Z (part numbers 996-0581-00 and 996-080-00), these monitors were incorrectly labeled with the development model name. The specifications of the monitor you received are consistent with our part numbers and we have received excellent feedback on this new model. We apologize for any inconvenience.
