I neglected to change the resolution initially and was very dissapointed. LCDs only really look right at one resolution, though they do not care much what the refresh rate is.

I've been playing CS on a Samsung with 40 ms delay and analog and if you crank the AA and Anis, you don't really notice the ghosting. I got used to it so quickly it was not much of a bother.

Yes you should get a graphics card with DVI.

I use a Gateway FPD1520 15" LCD at work, and it has a .297mm pixel pitch. It's WAY sharper and clearer than any CRT monitor I've seen, and that includes my .24mm 21" FD Trinitron.

I'm not an expert, but i remember reading that the dot pitch measurement w/ CRT's is different than LCD's.

A video card with DVI is certainly better but not necessary if you are not a PC gamer or graphic designer. I don't recommand you to get another $200+ video card with DVI just because you bought this new LCD. If you think it is time to upgrade your video card now, however, go get one with DVI output.

I am still using GeForce 3 TI200 128mb graphic card for gaming. I am very pleased with it even though it has no DVI support.

Mine was shipped.

Dell says it shipped on saturday (when I ordered it...fedex doesn't even ship on saturday) but FedEx says it shipped today. Why is dell's shopping cart/ecommerce software so clunky and finicky? Last night at like 2:15AM I couldn't even check my order status, it was doing such ridiculous things.
