Walmart will most likely ring up the sale as $299.99 PS3 + $100 GC, so if you do return your PS3, you only get $299.99 back, making it equivalenet to you just buying straight up a $100 GC in the end.

Walmart will most likely ring up the sale as $299.99 PS3 + $100 GC, so if you do return your PS3, you only get $299.99 back, making it equivalenet to you just buying straight up a $100 GC in the end.
The PS3 on the original receipt shows up $399. There isn't anyway for the software system at Walmart to tract when or what pice it was at that time by scanning an item's UPC. I think the only way it is possible is by having a recepit. The last policy I knew of on returned items without a receipt over $30(?,it was a low amount) they automatically have to issue a giftcard for whatever the item's amount was.. Now the only hold up is if they just plain refuse to take back the PS3 because they assume you had bought during the first promotion.

I'm fairly sure you're allowed to sell something like this on FS/FT if you want. You just can't redistribute it...
