He said they would most likely honor it, but it wasn't gaurenteed. I actually just canceled mine and ordered from Outpost.com where they are in stock. I couldn't wait

Impatience is costly. If they come thru, it'll be like getting free Doom 3 and a trip to the movies for what you'll pay for the card alone. Whatever works for you.

Hey i got a question anyone order theirs from evga.com and got there shipment today? I am thinking of getting in on the second round of preorders but wondering if the 8/10 date they give is a good estimation or if it will be a problem getting.

Yeah I ordered one but cancelled cause I found a "used" BFG 6800GT at my local Fry's for about $365. Not bad I guess

Just got my 6800 GT yesterday...Got a great deal on the card, but to make a long story short. My dad wanted me to go with him to CompUSA and I thought it would be cool JUST IN CASE they had DOOM 3... So I walk around don't see it...So I figure I should go check out if they had a 6800 GT....nothing on the shelves. So I ask one of the guys that works there if they had one in the back....THEY SURE DID ....we kept small talk about the X800 Pro they had in stock and that i should get that card....when it comes down to paying him I asked him to hook me up with his employee discount and he said "it's really not that great" I said anything is fine...He then looks it up on the computer and says I can only get this card for $320..I was like sounds good to me ... He then says "I don't even know you and I can't believe I'm going to do this for you" Asked me to take out cash and pay him with cash just in case... So I paid 320 + tax and in the end all I will have paid is $320 cause my wifes brother is from mexico and the get tax exempt... So I'll get the tax back Sorry for the long story...lol

Recently BB had the BFG 6800 GT OC in stock. I would go with the GT OC rather than the PNY. If you wait until BB restocks them it would be possble to get the BFG.

I called them yesterday and the gentleman I spoke with said that they were due in on the 15th and that they would be shipping soon afterward. Since the 15th is a Sunday, I'm not sure if he meant the 16th or if he drank too much cough syrup that day or what.
