I ordered 5...yeah I know greedy, but if this actually does come through imagine how much money I'll make! I'd say around 25 profit (after all fees)...so it'll turn out to be 125 profit. If it is the guide, I guess I could just return it and complain and get my 6.95 for shipping back. But as a college kid, I believe that this is a good investment.

Well, their site seems to be dead now. I was on the last step ordering and it just timed out. Now their site is officially gone.

Missed out on this one. Once they check to see why their server just crashed, they will change the price

Same here... everything was going fine, then I answered the phone, and when I came back to check the info and hit submit... it all died.

Still works for me...I just put in my pre-order...the site was down for a while. just do a search for unreal, you will find unreal and the coll. ed. as well as other versions of the game. You will also find a Pre-Order button that you can push.

Hope it works!!! Thanks for the post!!

I dont see why people automatically assume that when a site with a deal on it goes down its the AT effect. There is pretty much NO WAY IN HECK that the amount of people who read this thread and actually try to order this game would cause servers that handle MILLIONS of orders a day to go down. They are obviously having some technical problems or doing some upgrades. The same thing happened with the Dell LCDs yesterday. Dell went down for a couple hours because of technical problems and people were all like "yeah baby! AT effect! w00t!" when it fact it was upgrades or something. AFAIK the only sites that can cause a MAJOR retailer to go down are /., fark (maybe), and just maybe TB. Its no big deal for a site like Walmart.com to handle1 million ORDERS (not pageviews) in an hour, especially around the holidays. My company does all the DCs (distribution centers) for wallyworld and walmart.com and they are HUGE.

Random fact about Walmart: the main headquarters in Alabama(?) controls the temperatures for all walmart stores in the WORLD. Isnt that weird?

Thanks Monkey for the great find. I own a computer/game store and cant get this game
for this price. I guess when you do over a billion dollars in sales in one weekend
you can justify having prices this low.

Ordered one. Came out to about $22sumthing with tax and shipping.

Anyway, Unreal2 is gonna kick ass! UT2003 was a spin off. Unreal2 will be a single player game. However, a multiplayer portion (using code from UT2003)has been added due to complaints. This game is gonna be so cool. Be aware that you need a pretty good system to handle it though. If you have any doubts about your system, download the UT2003 demo and see if it runs okay.

Hope to meet u all in Unreal2 multiplayer games. For now, back to CS

Yeah. It looks like they have corrected the pre-order price now. The price lists $49.97 during check out instead of $17.97. Did anybody get an order at the low price? You may get your order honored by Walmart but I'm not so sure. Nice find though... He he
