Someone posted this on the IGN boards:

I just called Walmart.com (25 minute wait) and she said that there was no record of sending that cancellation email to me and that it shows that it is processing. So she wrote a not on my order that says I called and I want my game at price originally shown. I suggest you all call also.

DID! Spent 45 minutes listening to the most ANNOYING xmas muzak(!!) to be told that the reason my order was cancelled was because it was not in stock (DUH!) and after explaining that it was a PRE-ORDER, my order was reinstated. Waiting on an Email confirmation now....

Bring this up from the dead. My order was "cancelled" by WalMart e-mail several (maybe 3 to 4) weeks ago...but it's still shown as "Processing" on the website. Who knows...I dont' think Walmart has it all together on this one!

They just got around to cancelling my order online. It's been in "processing" status online up until today. Maybe I'll call a CSR in a week when it's in stock and see if I can work some magic.

Just picked up U2 at SAMS's Club for $28.24. They have a sticker price of $38.24 and I applied the $10 GC Walmart.com sent me cause of the pre-order screw-up. When I called them up last week to see if they would re-instate my order the CSR tried to but then found out about the pre-order price screw-up. She said she would send me a $10 GC (like other previous posters.)
