Only one rebate is from Toshiba. The other is from OD, and only requires copies of the upc/receipt. That should not be a problem.

Yeah, I'm not sure what you're looking at. I've just filled out both rebates and have the envelopes in front of me. One's going to OD in Michigan, the other to Toshiba in Arizona. Contact phone and web addresses are different, too...

Got mine today. Used the Toshiba Online pre-qualify rebate page to assess my rebate. It came out to be $100.

Here are the details.

299 - 29.9 (10% discount) - $25 (in-store coupon) - 100 (OD Rebate) - 100 (Toshiba Rebate) = $59.97 (after taxes)

I tried using the online rebate page to get my rebate (as none were printed out when the reciept) and it said I didn't qualify. I purchased my e335 yesterday like the rest of you guys, but mine is denied? Weird. Anyone got a scanned copy of the rebate I could print out and send in? Would be much appreciated.

That won't work...considering the Toshiba rebate has a barcode which has the UPC # and unit serial # included. The OD rebate is available online, so you shouldn't have a problem getting that one (and that is the only one that should have printed in store).

For the Toshiba rebate go to the URL mentioned in the first thread and follow the steps. If you got denied, then call them up. No one can "hook you up" unless they want to lose $100 themselves.

I just purchased a e335 about a month ago, sorry now I didn't get this good of a price on it.
When I was buying mine, there were two toshiba rebates floating around, one for $50 and one for $100. They're both valid, and it's really whichever one you want to use (wonder which one?!).
Can't beat this PDA at this price.

Sandisk isn't recommended for Toshiba PDAs (isn't that what comes with the cruzer), bad history.

Yes... I saw this demo at Comdex this past January. It was pretty nifty. A guy had it running in his Dell axim. Much smaller than your run of the mill CF wifi card (the socket CF card is pretty nice though).

Is there a hard copy coupon for the 10% off, or do they allow you to use the code that is floating around online for B & M purchases as the deal is dead online. Do you have to give them the code when you pay for it in-store so that they can give you the discount, do you need a printout or just tell them the code and they will accept it?

Also what link to use to get the toshiba rebate and is it still valid?

I called Toshiba, they will take a rebate form printed from here. She guaranteed me that you'll get the $100 back. Also she mentioned they were having problems with the website, so people who thought they didn't qualify actually may have.

If they check the orders on the receipts (not sure if they do) then you jeopardize not only your rebate, but the other person. Maybe even some jail time.

Update: I think the web form rebate is working again, as I didn't need to scour toshiba's website for a mail in rebate that some lady guaranteed me will work. When I entered my information again, I pre-qualified. On the online rebate page when you enter UPC code make sure to get the far left and far right digit entered. I think some people were having some problems with it. Also, don't try to save the web page it generates for you (the actual mail in rebate you have to print with the barcode). Print it directly from the page, as the barcode won't save right. I almost screwed this up, but luckily I used the trusty back button =).

Hope this clears everything up, sent in my 2 rebates today.

Bad news for those of you looking for wifi connectivity with this device. According to a review done by PocketPC magazine (see it online) this unit's MMC slot is not i/o capable. This means you can't use a wifi card in the E335.

Wifi is why I would switch to a PocketPC so I don't feel as bad about missing this deal.

Actually JB the e335 has a fully compatible SDIO slot. Search for it on google or lookup some avail SDIO accessories. I've seen SDIO Bluetooth cards, SDIO Wireless Keyboards so far. In fact, Toshiba sells a SDIO Bluetooth card for the e335 on it's website. So the slot in not just for storage only . . . it just so happens that there are currently no 802.11b SDIO cards on the market. Sorry you didn't get in on the deal

Yes, I can confirm SD I/O *is* compatible with this device, it even states so in the product's manual (in the specs section near the back). I saw that review, and it is incorrect.

So, nice try...but ya didn't crap on the deal.
